Every time I see a new update for this thread I keep thinking of our RBG death watch thread.

Is that sad or is everyone sort of thinking the same

I seriously doubt that her handlers will let death stop them from operating her corpse so I more expect an update along the lines of “Reports suggest that Senator Feinstein no longer blinks”

I'll take that over him getting the Dem nom. He's great for California but I doubt his chances nationally. Would be great to have someone as outspoken at the Senate.

He’s a decent politician and manages to play the culture war fight correctly, which is a shock for democrats, he’s probably the best chance we have after Biden.

I need a drink with that thought.

My mom REALLY wants Newsom to run in 2024 and one of her reasons is that he genuinely looks "presidential".

Hes always had the Bruce Wayne thing going on. He’s okay but I think he puts being president in the future above actions sometimes and I wonder did he would put staying president above actions. In the meantime I would like to see him do more to help the homeless population. We should devote a lot more money toward food and shelter and job placement programs.

Feinstein suggested she has more work to do before leaving the Senate. "There's still two years," Feinstein said. "A lot can happen in two years."

Meaning she's a greedy pig who for some reason still wants to make a few more million bucks before she rots in the dirt.

Fucking limousine liberal hag.

Sen. Dianne Feinstein (D-Calif.) has not announced her plans for 2024, but is widely expected to retire.

I think the article is whatever, but I wonder if there's a scenario where Feinstein goes to Newsom and says "I'll step down now if you appoint X." Incumbency would be a huge advantage going into the election.

It's through this article I found out Schiff is running.

So Porter, Lee, Schiff, Ro Khanna so far. People have been waiting for a Senate opening for a longass time, it seems.
