GeneticBlueprint Posted March 22, 2022 Author Posted March 22, 2022 There's some brief footage of the plane right before impact. I would not be surprised if there were some sort of foul play because planes don't just nosedive like that. Quote
outsida Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 That definitely look purposeful. That nosedive’s pitch was greater than 90 degrees. Quote

There is some speculation that the tail section separated from the fuselage which would cause the nosedive. Also, the complete failure of the control surfaces could be responsible for that event. Those scenarios would all involve the aircraft spinning quite a bit which we don't see at all in the admittedly brief video. Plus, the speed of the descent just makes it seem like somebody was trying to bring it down. Just terrible tragedy no matter what the root cause is, though. Quote
outsida Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 If you look at the video there is no indication of smoke or debris. These planes are designed to have static stability, meaning with no human intervention they fly level. In the video you can see the pitch change for greater than 90 degrees down to around around 90 degrees at the last moment due to over speed and the sheer amount of lifting force on the wings. Quote
DarkStar189 Posted March 22, 2022 Posted March 22, 2022 "China Eastern Flight 5735 was traveling 455 knots (523 mph, 842 kph) at around 29,000 feet when it entered a steep and fast dive around 2:20 p.m. local time, according to data from flight-tracking website FlightRadar24.com. The plane plunged to 7,400 feet before briefly regaining about 1,200 feel in altitude, then dove again. The plane stopped transmitting data 96 seconds after starting to fall." 96 seconds of hell. Maybe it dove fast enough people were passed out? 1 Quote

Maybe it dove fast enough people were passed out? Nope, but they wouldn’t have felt the impact as the plane was going 500 mph while nerve impulses travel at 250 mph. Quote
Commissar SFLUFAN Posted May 17, 2022 Posted May 17, 2022 China air crash that killed 132 may have been deliberate, says US report | Plane crashes | The Guardian WWW.THEGUARDIAN.COM WSJ sources suggest black box recorders from Boeing 737-800 indicate intentional input from cockpit Quote A China Eastern Airlines plane that crashed in March, killing 132 people, appears to have been intentionally flown into the mountainside below by someone at the controls, according to reports. Analysis by US officials of the black box flight recorders found amid the wreckage suggests deliberate input from the cockpit forced the Boeing 737-800 plane into its catastrophic dive. The Wall Street Journal quoted an unnamed source who said: “The plane did what it was told to do by someone in the cockpit.” Quote
