Nintendo So the Kingdom Hearts collection is coming to Switch, but WTF am I getting?

KINGDOM HEARTS INTEGRUM MASTERPIECE includes:

• KINGDOM HEARTS HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX
• KINGDOM HEARTS HD 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue
• KINGDOM HEARTS III + Re Mind (DLC), including the new Advent Red Keyblade - available only for Nintendo Switch!

 

I am so confused by the titles. If I get this 'INTEGRUM' collection, will I be getting all the KH games? Or at least all the ones in the main storyline?

 

They're 'Cloud' editions, which kind of stinks, but I wouldn't mind revisiting the series.

Yes 1.5 and 2.5 are just collections of the first and second game with extra stuff.

2.8 are the portable games and 3 is 3 obviously.

That's not how they number the series, just the collection. In terms of the series, the number is 1, 2, 3. Everything else is just a silly little side game that adds critical context for literally everything that follows so you better fucking play them all to know the entire story you dirty whore.

 

I'm really surprised they decided to take this bizarre route. The only games here that needed to be cloud versions were 0.2 and KH3. Everything else could easily be run natively on a Switch for a dramatically superior experience.
