In an absolutely ridiculous Week 18, the leaderboard is shaken with some big rises and even bigger falls!  When the dust settled on the regular season it was Keyser_Soze who reclaimed his spot atop the rankings.  They say you gotta have momentum going into the playoffs; can he keep it going and go on another run defending his position?

 

POST-SEASON NOTE: Fewer games and fewer players on the field means fewer questions.  Questions are still important, but your bets are more crucial than ever.  Good luck!

 

########## WEEK 18 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 18 Feature Game - L.A. Chargers (-2.5) @ Las Vegas Raiders
The NFL's first ever Week 18 ends with a doozy, as the Chargers and Raiders take it down to the wire with Las Vegas winning by a score of 35-29.5(32-2.5) in OT.  Bets on the black & silver win.

 

QUESTIONS

 1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Chargers TD, Chargers FG, Chargers safety, Raiders TD, Raiders FG, Raiders safety, or other? ($2,000 for the correct call)
 A 1st quarter 24 yarder through the uprights put the Raiders up by 3 early for the first points of the Feature Game.  Nobody called this.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will have the highest average yards per play? ($1,400 for the correct team)
It was close, but the Chargers take this one with 5 yards per play on average to Las Vegas' 4.7.

 

3) There are 2 playoff spots remaining in the AFC.  Of the 5 teams that are still in the hunt (Colts, Chargers, Raiders, Steelers, Ravens) name the two teams that will claim these spots. ($1,500 for EACH correct team)
The Steelers (who were sweating Sunday Night) and the Raiders take the final two spots on a wild final week.  3 players called the Raiders but only Slug also picked the Steelers to nail both.

 

4) There is 1 playoff spot remaining in the NFC.  Of the 2 teams still in the hunt (49'ers, Saints) name the team that will claim this final spot. ($1,500 for the correct team)
The San Francisco 49'ers edge out the Saints to take the last spot in the NFC.

 

5) Call the winners:
Green Bay at Detroit
Chicago at Minnesota
New Orleans at Atlanta
($1,500 for EACH correct named game winner, $3,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Only AbsolutSurgen picked all three games correctly to earn the bonus!
 
6) Seattle @ Arizona: Over or under 47.5 points? ($1,500 for the right call)
With 68 combined points, this one went way over.

 

7) Did you even block? From snap to whistle name a player that will record a sack in 3 seconds or less. ($4,000 for a correct player)
4 players (Jacob Philips, Christian Wilkins, Poona Ford, and Darrell Taylor) each recorded a sack in under 3 seconds. Nobody called any of these players.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week eighteen. ($5,000 for each player named correctly, $10,000 bonus if both names are called)
Rashaad Penny led all rushers with 190 yards in Week 18 while Rob Gronkowski got fed for 137 yards receiving. Nobody called either player.
