Gifted A Quest 2: Where To Start?

Holding objects and looking at them is really fun. Despite the fact that it’s a GameCube game running on mobile hardware I can’t stop just looking at stuff in RE4. I like offering an egg to the zombies in this trying time.

I ordered a fancy usb cable so I can try out Alyx. I feel like if RE is already blowing my mind Alyx really will.

Yeah try using airlink, it should be about just as good as usb if you have a good connection. Set up side quest so you can get in on that sweet sweet virtual boy action. Some of the big ones like Super Hot and Pistol Whip. Moss and Luckys Tale for platformers. Tetris Effect is a must unless you hate tetris. Resist is a super cool little game that lets you be spider-man in an open world but also midair gunfights with robots and jet packs. Pixel Ripped 1995 is a really fun nostalgic experience that doesn’t get a lot of mention but I really enjoyed it. Path of the Warrior is a super basic 80s beat ‘em up but it’s first person vr and another I think is really fun and isn’t talked about. Pornhub works well for vr porn if you feel like jerking your thick veiny cock later. I like Epic Roller Coaster as a game to just put on the unit real quick for a few rides.

Yeah try using airlink...

Unfortunately I'm still rocking wired internet on my PC. Maybe I should look into getting a wifi adapter since my home wifi is pretty good.

I'd completely forgotten about Tetris effect. I'm now super excited to try it in VR.

My top 3 are Population: One, Ragnarock, and Blade and Sorcery. Golf+ is also a VERY good "sim". It has Mini golf, Top Shot Driving Range, and full 18 course with all clubs.

Also, you dont need a Wifi adapter. The PC NEEDS to be connect WIRED to the router for best performance.

Got an Oculus Quest 2 as well (to be honest, my son got it) so this thread is very helpful. I'll relay these recommendations to him. And likely try a few of these out myself!

But they aren't zombies... :p

For you and your son check out Luckys Tale and Moss!

Edit: And for your son, I recommend parental web browser settings :P

Got Lucky's Tale on Switch already, but I'll take a look at Moss. Thanks! :D

As the resident Luckys Tale fan here I can tell you that it’s a very different game on Rift and now Quest. Super is pretty much a sequel to this one and the switch one is modified so much from Super that it’s sort of like a 1.5 version. All three are fun though. And seeing Lucky himself  in vr is worth it alone anyway.

So I got it working wirelessly, which I obviously did not know I could do. So far it has worked incredibly well, and while I haven't gotten to the shooty shooty part of Alyx, the drawing penises on the windows part of this game has been pretty mindblowing. It looks incredible and I've been having a blast just walking around and making friends with every single object I see.

Steam home is a great place to draw 3d penises, and even use them as swords.

I swear, I have the worst luck with Airlink. Virtual Desktop works great, but Airlink is completely unusable. Is Airlink just weird when it comes to mesh network? I have a WiFi6 Netgear Orbi setup. Even in the same room as my PC that is wired into a mesh node with my headset connecting wirelessly to that noise, Airlink is a stuttery mess. That's opposed to Virtual Desktop which works fine, even in some parts of my basement.

You would have to look at the settings and see where the difference is between the 2 apps. Spacewarping causes alot of issues for me.
