A loss on a conservative bet and hitting the Question 5 bonus (along with I think everyone except me) keeps Keyser_Soze on top going into Week 16!  With only 3 weeks until the post-season, can he hang on or will the rest of the leaderboard step up to pass him bye?

 

########## WEEK 14-15 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 14 Feature Game -  Los Angeles Rams at Arizona Cardinals (-2.5)
The Rams beat the Cardinals on the field and in the MGT by a score of 30-20.5(23-2.5). Bets on L.A. win.

 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Rams TD, Rams FG, Rams safety, Cardinals TD, Cardinals FG, Cardinals safety, or other? ($1,500 for the correct call)
A first quarter Matt Prater 53 yarder was the first score of the Feature Game.  Guesses on an Arizona field goal get it. Nobody got this one.

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will be penalized the most? ($1,000 for the correct call)
Arizona was penalized 7 times to LA's 5.

 

3) Wrong team, dummy: Which QB in Week 14 will throw the highest number of interceptions? ($2,000 for the correct player)
Trevor Lawrence gets confused by jersey colors, throwing the ball to the Other Guys 4 times in Week 14.

 

4) Name ANY two teams that combine for UNDER 30 total points. They do not have to be playing each other. ($1,500 a correct combo)
If you called a correct combination you got this one.

 

5) Call the winners:
Buffalo at Tampa Bay
Detroit at Denver
New Orleans at NY Jets
($1,000 for EACH correct named game winner, $2,500 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Almost everyone got all 3.  This was the Jonathan Taylor of question #5's.
 
6) Serious hustle: Name any defensive player that will travel over 50 yards on a single play to make a tackle. ($2,000 for a correct name)
Trevon Moehrig, Michael Davis and Byron Murphy all hooked it over 50 yards to make a tackle in Week 14. Nobody called any of 'em.

 

7) Which team will score first in the Atlanta @ Carolina game? ($1,000 for a correct name)
Carolina scored the first points of the game on a 1st quarter touchdown to take the early lead in this one.  It wouldn't last.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week fourteen. ($3,000 for each player named correctly, $7,000 bonus if both names are called)
Dalvin Cook rumbled for 205 yards to take the rushing crown in Week 14 while George Kittle hauled in 151 through the air to be your leading receiver. Nobody called either player.

WEEK 16 MOCK GAMBLING - SPREAD AND QUESTIONS

 

DEADLINE FOR WEEK 16 ENTRIES - Thursday, 12/23 8:19PM EASTERN

Miami Dolphins at New Orleans Saints (-3.5)
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)
 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Dolphins TD, Dolphins FG, Dolphins safety, Saints TD, Saints FG, Saints safety, or other? ($1,700 for the correct call)
 

2) Which team will score LAST in the Feature Game? ($1,000 for the correct call)
 

3) Protect the ball! Name any player that will fumble more than once in Week 16. ($2,000 for the correct player)
 

4) Yes or no: Will any receiver catch 3 or more TDs in a single game in Week 16? ($1,000 a correct guess)


5) Call the winners:

Jacksonville at N.Y. Jets

($1,200 for EACH correct named game winner, $3,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
