Spawn_of_Apathy Posted September 28 Posted September 28 I think Chaos feels less bad in co-op than it might solo. One thing that is really funny with Chaos though is the little soldier guys, just literally running through them. lol there was also a patch the other day that made chaos feel easier to manage. But it didn’t feel like we were going out on the high we started with. At least in regards to operations. I think they were an ok switch up, but they may have over stayed their welcome. The tyranids are more raw fun. it’s nice to see the dev both open to criticism and willing to admit when they missed the mark. Quote
Mercury33 Posted September 28 Posted September 28 Killing the little humans by just running them over is hysterical and never gets old 1 Quote
BloodyHell Posted September 29 Posted September 29 The little soldier guys are Traitor Guard! Imperial soldiers that crossed over to chaos. The Imperial Guard we meet who are on our side are specifically Cadian Guard, identified by their purple eyes. Cadia, their world, was shattered into pieces fighting Abbadon the Despoiler. The Cadians like to say, “Cadia broke before the Guard did”. Quote

The text before the correction: Hide contents I saw this. It’s interesting. If it really is the emperor, I’m actually shocked GW allowed them to do ANYTHING with the him. The only recent example of the Emperor actually speaking to anyone is “offscreen” with G-Man. Also, it’s so dumb PlayStation doesn’t have a gift system like steam. Bought this for my nephew, and the extra steps of having to send money to his mom instead of just sending him the game is annoying. Quote

Probably the only one actually called by the emperor. Most others just have it bestowed on them through a broken system. it really is big, as GW does seem to be canonizing these games, even making models and a data sheet for Titus. Them being able to give the Emperor voice is something that hasn’t happened in, well, I honestly can’t remember. Quote

No, don’t fall into the trap of lazy YouTubers looking for clicks. These are not in the same universe as what Helldivers did with their first few patches. This was simply rebalancing things. People complained it was too easy so they made the top two difficulties harder. The Melta thing everyone is crying about really only effects the cheesy Melta Bomb tactic squads were using to one shot bosses. Quote

Has nothing to do with YouTubers, pve does not need balance the way pvp does, imo. Quote

Commissar SFLUFAN Posted October 21 Author Posted October 21 Amazon’s Warhammer 40,000 Secret Level Animation Is a Sequel to Space Marine 2 - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Amazon and Games Workshop have revealed fresh details about their Secret Level Warhammer 40,000 episode, confirming it’s a sequel to the recently released Space Marine 2. Quote Perhaps of most interest is the Warhammer 40,000 Secret Level episode’s link to Saber Interactive’s record-breaking Space Marine 2. First up, Games Workshop confirmed actor Clive Standen’s return as Ultramarines lieutenant Titus, the protagonist of the game. “Players of Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 will have already clocked the iconic figure of Lieutenant Titus in the initial teaser trailer released back in August,” Games Workshop said. “Today it has just been confirmed that the indomitable Clive Standen is reprising his leading role as the voice of Titus in this new animation.” Games Workshop then confirmed this Secret Level animation is “a sequel to Space Marine 2,” even going as far as teasing that it follows on directly from the events of the game’s campaign. “Yes, that’s Titus and what’s that fancy laurel on his helmet?” Games Workshop said. “If you’ve completed the game, then you already know! This animation follows the conclusion of the video game like a... secret level.” Quote
Commissar SFLUFAN Posted October 23 Author Posted October 23 Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 Players Praise the Emperor as Dev Rolls Back Controversial Balance Changes - IGN WWW.IGN.COM Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive has announced Update 4.1, set to hit the game on October 24, and detailed its patch notes. Quote Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 developer Saber Interactive has announced Update 4.1, set to hit the game on October 24, and detailed its patch notes. Update 4.1 follows hot on the heels of last week’s controversial Update 4.0, widely criticized by Space Marine 2’s community for making the game significantly harder, even on easier difficulties. The backlash to Update 4.0 spread to Space Marine 2’s Steam page, where disgruntled players review-bombed the game. The Update 4.1 patch notes were published alongside a message to fans from game director Dmitriy Grigorenko, who, having digested the criticism of the last week, admitted: “The key takeaway for me, personally, is that I forgot that once the game comes out, it's no longer a dev's game. It's yours first and foremost.” Quote
Spawn_of_Apathy Posted October 23 Posted October 23 Cowards. too late for refunds from those whiners. but seriously though, nice to see a quick response. I won’t even have felt the unpopular update by the time my friends and I go back to this game in a week or so. Quote
Spawn_of_Apathy Posted October 31 Posted October 31 Oh btw, on PC at least the devs released a 4k texture pack for the game. I downloaded and installed it tonight ahead of playing this again Friday. See what it does to my performance and how much a visual difference it does. Quote
