I think Chaos feels less bad in co-op than it might solo. One thing that is really funny with Chaos though is the little soldier guys, just literally running through them. lol

there was also a patch the other day that made chaos feel easier to manage. But it didn’t feel like we were going out on the high we started with. At least in regards to operations. I think they were an ok switch up, but they may have over stayed their welcome. The tyranids are more raw fun.

it’s nice to see the dev both open to criticism and willing to admit when they missed the mark.

The little soldier guys are Traitor Guard! Imperial soldiers that crossed over to chaos.

The Imperial Guard we meet who are on our side are specifically Cadian Guard, identified by their purple eyes. Cadia, their world, was shattered into pieces fighting Abbadon the Despoiler. The Cadians like to say, “Cadia broke before the Guard did”.

I finished the campaign before this change was made, but ooooohhhhh boy - does it ever have some serious lore implications!

A seemingly innocuous change made to Space Marine 2 as part of this week’s big Patch 3.0 has got Warhammer 40,000 lore fans excited about potentially huge implications for the game’s story and the wider setting itself.

I saw this. It’s interesting. If it really is the emperor, I’m actually shocked GW allowed them to do ANYTHING with the him.

The only recent example of the Emperor actually speaking to anyone is “offscreen” with G-Man.

Also, it’s so dumb PlayStation doesn’t have a gift system like steam. Bought this for my nephew, and the extra steps of having to send money to his mom instead of just sending him the game is annoying.

If the Emperor indeed spoke those words and resurrected him, that would make Titus a "living saint":

"Despair, and you give yourself to the shadows. Believe, truly believe in the Emperor of Mankind, and you shall walk in His light no matter how dark the path you tread." —Saint Celestine A Living Saint is an extraordinarily devout servant of the Emperor of Mankind, usually a warrior of the Ecclesiarchy, who displays seemingly miraculous, supernatural abilities derived from potent faith in the God-Emperor during his or her lifetime. A Living Saint is a mighty and pious warrior of the Imperial Creed who displays miraculous abilities within his or her lifetime and is subsequently resurrected, supposedly by the Emperor himself.

Probably the only one actually called by the emperor. Most others just have it bestowed on them through a broken system.

it really is big, as GW does seem to be canonizing these games, even making models and a data sheet for Titus. Them being able to give the Emperor voice is something that hasn’t happened in, well, I honestly can’t remember.
