BloodyHell
Bloodborne, God of War, and BotW. I think those three games are representative of the best of AAA experiences of the last decade.

BOTW is too unfocused and struggled with performance as well. So it can't be that. GOW the original i forget too much about to comment. I just remember the visuals being amazing back then. Bloodporne
Bought TLOU2 on sale last night and just got to Seattle and did the bank immediately. I really liked the gameplay in the original and this seems to improve on every aspect of it so far. The opening has been excruciatingly slow and full of 'push up for 10 minutes for exposition but that seems to have been a very long tutorial more than anything so whatever. I really like the added mobility and light platforming so far as well. Also, the animation in this game is almost eerie it's so good. It constantly catches me off guard. And I like gory games so this is going well with my second playthrough of Death Stranding. Overall, really great first impression despite the slow-ass pace. And I'm glad they immediately Spoiler iced Joel. I never really thought he was particularly fun to play...like as an avatar/char model. Playing as Abby has been my favorite, all her animations are really violent and strong feeling, good shit.

Ominous
Just outside of 10 years, but Armando Galarraga's near-perfect game was on June 2, 2010.
Bloodporne
My goodness, the gameplay in TLOU2 is fine-tuned to perfection. Just got to the hospital and that whole stretch was pure gold, damn. Also, the dogs scare the shit out of me. I immediately panic when I see one. Playing on Hard with some Survivor settings thrown in and the 'survival at all costs' atmosohere is even better than the first one.

Yes, the dogs can be a real bitch but it adds tension and difficulty. The game keeps getting better so buckle up.

Game is amazing. Yeah this is close to RE4 levels of 'how does this keep delivering'. I'm way past that encounter now but the shopping mall with the flooded first floor was incredible encounter-design-wise. Made me feel like I was going full Apocalypse Now. The game really puts you into a total guerilla warfare mindset somehow, it's so good.
