With a conservative bet and getting cash on almost half the questions, Keyser_Soze slides to the top of one of the tightest leaderboards we've had at this point in the competition! Will he be able to build momentum and hang on going into Week 11?

 

########## WEEK 9 RESULTS ##########

 

Week 9 Feature Game - Chicago Bears (+7.5) at Pittsburgh Steelers
Chicago loses on the field, but wins with the points, beating the Steelers in the MGT by a score of 34.5(27+7.5)-29.  Bets on da Bears win.

 

QUESTIONS

1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Bears TD, Bears FG, Bears safety, Steelers TD, Steelers FG, Steelers safety, or other? ($800 for the correct call)
Najee Harris scampers into the endzone from 10 yards out and a touchdown for the first score of the Feature Game. Steelers TD is the call. Only Biggie and Keyser_Soze got this one right.
 

2) Which teams in the Feature Game will win the time of possession battle? ($600 for the correct team)
Pittsburgh held the ball for 34:05 to Chicago's 25:55 to win the ToP game.
 

3) Name any team that will finish their game with a score greater than 30. ($600 for the right answer)
The Colts, Browns, Vikings, Ravens, and Cardinals all surpassed 30 points.  Only BasemntDweller2 called one of these teams!
 

4) Home field advantage: How many home teams win in Week 9? ($900 for the correct player)
7 home teams were able to hold down the fort in Week 9. Slug was the only player to call this correctly.

 

5) Call the winners:
Cleveland at Cincinnati
L.A. Chargers at Philadelphia
Las Vegas Raiders at NY Giants
($500 for EACH correctly named game winner, $1,000 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
Our players didn't have a ton of faith in the Browns and Giants in Week 9.  No bonus awarded.

 

6) Which team scores first in the Sunday night Titans @ Rams game? ($600 for the right team)
L.A. gets this one with a 34 yard field goal in the first quarter.
 

7) Name the QB that will have the most passing yards in Week 9 ($1,000 for the right name)
Justin Herbert puts up 356 yards to lead all passers in Week 9.  Nobody called this.

 

8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week nine. ($1,500 for each player named correctly, $4,000 bonus if both names are called)
Jonathan Taylor picks up 172 yards on the ground while Cordarrelle Patterson takes in 126 through the air to be your Week 9 leaders. Five players called Taylor's number. Nobody saw Patterson coming so no bonus awarded.

Week 10 Feature Game
L.A. Rams (-4.5) at San Francisco 49'ers
(Remember you are betting against the spread, not just the outright winner)
 

QUESTIONS
1) What will be the first scoring play of the Feature Game? Rams TD, Rams FG, Rams safety, 49'ers TD, 49'ers FG, 49'ers safety, or other? ($900 for the correct call)

 

2) Which team in the Feature Game will commit more turnovers? ($700 for the correct team)

 

3) Name any player that will notch at least 2 sacks in Week 10. ($900 for a correct name)

 

4) How many touchdowns will be scored in the Bills @ Jets game? ($700 for the right answer)
 

5) Call the winners:
Seattle at Green Bay
Kansas City at Las Vegas
New Orleans at Tennessee
($600 for EACH correctly named game winner, $1,300 bonus if you call all 3 correctly)
 

6) Name any receiver that will have a reception of 50 or more yards in Week 10. ($900 a correct name)

 

7) Which team will score LAST in the Thursday night Baltimore @ Miami game? ($700 for the right team)


8) Name the player who will rush for the most yards AND the player that will have the most receiving yards in week ten. ($1,800 for each player named correctly, $5,000 bonus if both names are called)
