sblfilms Posted December 1, 2024 Posted December 1, 2024 These baby Rockets are finally turning into a real force. Still think they are one more year away from being a contender, but Jalen Green and Alpren Segun is absolutely a duo to build around for a decade. Quote

Now they have Porzingis back and they are playing extremely well. If they stay healthy they are winning a championship again this year. I love every guy on this team. Such a great group and they mesh so well. Still keeping up with my Spurs, too. They're looking better than last season. 1 Quote

Best Posted December 12, 2024 Posted December 12, 2024 This entire cup situation is lame af. NBA is slowly dying and as a huge long time fan I couldn't care less about it's players and it's current state. 80's and 90's was NBA at it's peak and now it's played by complete babies all trying to shoot like Steph Curry. It's a positionless game now with absolutely no heart or competitiveness by it's players. In the last year and a half I fell in love with women's basketbal. More specifically Caitlin Clark and I enjoy my basketball watching her play. Quote

It's insane. His ceiling is so freakin high. Quote

Best Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 As it stands today, there are 5 really amazing players who could win MVP this year. The quality of the team game has been on a decline but when you just look at individual talent, these players are incredible. The funny thing is though, none match Michael Jordan. Maybe a player will never reach that height again? Quote

Best Posted December 26, 2024 Posted December 26, 2024 I fuckin hate Draymond Green. And to be completely honest he is extremely average overall. He got way to much praise during the Warrior run. He thinks he's good too which is a joy to witness. Unfortunately he's arrogance will lead him to become a television analyst. Not because he's knowledgeable on basketball but because he'll guarantee an idiotic comment that will help promote wherever he lands. I put Charles Barkley in the same category but Charles is legitimately funny 90% of the time. Quote

Put Draymond on a mid team and he is all but forgotten and probably out of the league. 1 Quote

Kobe was just a replica of Jordan but didn't have the hands, quickness, or the athleticism Mike had. They hype new players every so often but they ultimately fail in comparing to Jordan. You're absolutely correct on your comment about Jordan's mentality. Quote

Best Posted January 8 Posted January 8 20 minutes ago, Biggie said: His assists game is crazy good What makes me chuckle inside is that I'm almost positive no player EVER will beat John Stockton's assist record. The dude looks like a banker too which is hilarious. This is why nobody will beat his record. "It's unlikely that anyone will break John Stockton's NBA assists record of 15,806: Longevity: Stockton played 19 seasons and missed only 16 games!! Durability: Stockton's durability and longevity make his record hard to match. Assists per game: No player has averaged at least 12 assists per game since Stockton in 1995. Lead over second place: Stockton's lead over second place, Jason Kidd, is more than 3,000 assists. Unprecedented streak: Stockton had five straight seasons with at least 12 assists per game from 1991 to 1995. Some say that Stockton's record is one of the NBA's most unbreakable. Quote

That's fucking disgusting. She is seriously such a great person so when I see things like that it's sad. I've been watching women's college basketball this year because of my admiration of her. Two of the top players are not even in the same league Clark was in her last college season. Quote
