Superior Russian module that just attached to the ISS this morning is firing its thrusters and causing the ISS to lose control

I wonder how much maneuvering fuel was used up trying to compensate for this error?  The maneuvering fuel is important, as it is used not only to correctly orient the ISS, but also to boost it to maintain its orbit.  Without fuel, the station naturally falls back to earth due to drag from the atmosphere.

I wondered this about both the station and the Russian craft!

If my understanding of space is correct (and it is), then I think they can open a window and throw an object towards the Earth, and receive an equal push in the opposite direction, if needed. Probably a few spare inanimate carbon rods floating around they can use.
