Movies Just watched Jordan Peele's Us

Okay, it's not super complicated, but it's more the fact that it kept going places I wasn't expecting.

I forgot about the guy Jason saw when they first went to the beach, starting the "hands across America" line. Kind of cool that you started to see something wrong, totally out of place, but you don't really get what it is until the news report later.

Also, Jason's either ahead of the curve or "Red" must have told him that she's the real mother. A good twist that plays fair is the best kind, and I'd say this is one of them.

Peele has stated that Jason figured it out.

Peele continues, “I have this kinda concept of Jason that he can sorta see through the veil. You can see these moments where he’s observing his mother and he’s meant to be a little step ahead of us, the most clever of us that’s sorta figuring out there’s something more to Adelaide’s story than we see.”

I did not like this movie film, but enjoyed watching it

A lot of people found the twist cheap but I found it to be most definitely not cheap and adds another layer to what the movie is about. It gives new context and a second viewing as well.

Jason hear his mom let out the same scream as the “tethered” after she kills Red. I believe that’s when he catches on to who his mom is.

I did find that strange and

Thought maybe she was mocking her. The final minute changed that perception.
