Emblazon
I've had it on my Amazon wishlist forever, but never pulled the trigger. Anyone have any experience with it? It always looked interesting enough.
Slug
I played once at a demo table at GenCon a couple years ago. It was a pretty light, but fun, bluffing game. Enjoyable. I would be down to play it again given the chance, but I'm not sure I'd add it to my own collection.

Paperclyp
Played it a lot. Needs the right group of people (people willing to lie), but it’s fun.

It’s sort of like all about calling bluffs or choosing not to challenge a possible lie. Like, you can play the game straight and never lie, and I’ve played it with people who just don’t wanna lie and it’s not fun. The whole appeal of the game is catching someone who’s trying to get away with a crazy amount of shit, or thinking there’s no way someone could have what they say they have and it just so happens yes they do. Grudges get built up in a good game. Sometimes people you won’t expect to will lie a lot and that’s fun too tho. But to me, the game really is as good as the group you’re playing with. So it certainly is like resistance in that way.
Lancelot
It's a lot of fun with the right group. All my friends are liars (comes with being an actor), so it's always a good time...
Bataar
It's a lot of fun with the right group of people. I have the expansion for it as well, but haven't had a chance to play it yet.
Wild
I like it, but agree that you need a group of people that are actively trying to lie on a regular basis. @Bataar Didn't know there was an expansions. What does it add?
Bataar
It basically contains a handful of modules you can choose to add. Here's a summary of what it adds: Deputies: In six player games, you may use two Deputies instead of a single Sheriff. Here, both deputies must decide to search bags or let people pass, and they will share the punishments and rewards. If a deputy disagrees with the other and searches a bag, they will receive the punishment or reward by themselves. Merry Men: Adds new illegal goods in the form of 'merry men' characters. If they are successfully smuggled in, players will reveal it and activate its special ability. Black Market: Adds three sets of bonus cards that display illegal goods. The first player who successfully smuggles in the indicated goods receives the bonus cards and a large reward. Laws: Sheriffs must draw three law cards and choose two to keep. The chosen laws are in play for the entire round. Special Orders: Special order cards indicate combinations of one legal and one illegal good. If players can smuggle both of those items in the same bag, they get that card, which provides them with bonus gold.
