No.  Doom is more fast paced...doesn't have cars...weapons are different...doesn't seem like Doom beyond the fact that both are FPS games

The first game was really fun - I think it was underrated because everyone was expecting Fallout.

It's an open-world FPS with vehicular combat like the Mad Max game.

Ooooh, okay now I remember hearing about this before. I love games like that. Just Cause 2 was a fun experience for me, which is the closest parallel I can draw from the limited information I have, haha.

I've been cautiously optimistic about this game since it was announced,  but this video has me feeling more cautious than optimistic. The AI and environment design just seemed very 2003 to me.

It's very underrated... it came out at the same time as Fallout 3 and was panned for not being that basically, but it's a fun shooter.

What about a single day?  February 22nd has four big game releases; Days Gone, Anthem, Metro: Exodus, and Crackdown 3. First Quarter is the new holiday season.

I found it to be fairly solid, but it was jarring getting to the halfway point and the game suddenly feel like it was made by a whole different team.
