When someone broke into my house, my first thought was actually to protect the person breaking into the place, because I'm not a psychopath and I know home intruders generally aren't interested in murder. A couple of the shooting ranges I've been to in the last few months had a lot of people of color practicing their skills or learning to shoot for the first time. That made me happy.
