ThreePi
Only ended up playing the other Necromunda game for about 30 minutes last year. Just fired it up and played the tutorial and then shelved it while I was finishing up on other games. Then the middling impressions just kind of kept it on the shelf. I still love the setting and hope this is a more exciting. Being from the EYE Divine Cybermancy team at least means there will be some interesting jank. Bloodporne
I'm in the mood for a new FPS but good god that art direction and everything is obnoxious and overly busy looking.

stepee
seems as though this is as bad as it looks!

Not great, but it definitely seems to have appeal, even with the jank. Not that it really matters; this has "Game Pass in two months" scribbled all over it. Commissar SFLUFAN
Game Information Game Title: Necromunda: Hired Gun Platforms: PlayStation 5 (Jun 1, 2021)PC (Jun 1, 2021)Xbox Series X/S (Jun 1, 2021)PlayStation 4 (Jun 1, 2021)Xbox One (Jun 1, 2021) Developer: Streum On Studio Publisher: Focus Home Interactive Review Aggregator: OpenCritic - 64 average - 30% recommended Critic Reviews 33bits - Spanish - 80 / 100 Necromunda: Hired Gun is a fast-paced first-person shooter where we'll get into the shoes of a bionic mercenary who, accompanied by his faithful cybernetic pet, will do anything in exchange for money to improve and become the best of the guild. The Games Machine - Italian - 7.8 / 10 Necromunda: Hired Gun is a fast paced FPS that makes the most of the Warhammer 40K license. The attention to even the smallest detail by the developers and the excellent level design are the setting for a dynamic and frenetic shooter. Unfortunately, just like Streum On Studio's previous titles, this latest video game by the French team is plagued by a number of technical problems and issues in the AI department. PC Invasion - 7.5 / 10 Necromunda: Hired Gun has some jank and some odd qualities, but when tearing your way through hordes of cyborgs is this much fun, I don't really mind so much. COGconnected - 70 / 100 Like so much of the Warhammer 40K universe, Necromunda is a richly imagined world filled with the potential for conflict and storytelling. Using it as the setting for an action-filled shooter makes total sense. Although its mechanics are essentially a greatest-hits collection of ideas from other shooters, Necromunda: Hired Gun is a competent introduction to this particular slice of the Warhammer 40K-verse. PCGamesN - 6 / 10 A fairly fun bullet-hell shooter frustrated by under-realised features and missed narrative opportunities. Ultimately, Hired Gun falls into a pitfall all too common to Warhammer adaptations: that of only ever feeling skin deep. VG247 - 3 / 5 stars And so, Necromunda often oscillates between a brilliant indie gem and a frustrating mid-tier game. cublikefoot - 6 / 10 Necromunda: Hired Gun may be a bit rough around the edges, but ultimately, it is still a fun game and worth a look if you’re a Warhammer or FPS fan and want to see what the Underhive has to offer. Spaziogames - Italian - 5.3 / 10 Necromunda: Hired Gun is a frenetic fps without a moment of pause, but various technical problems, a forgettable story and a gunplay with too many ups and downs put some excellent ideas in the background GameWatcher - 5 / 10 A Bounty You Can Safely Skip ACG - Never Touch Video Review - Quote not available Boomstick Gaming - Unscored Video Review - Quote not available Skill Up - Unscored Video Review - Quote not available
