Mercury33
I wasn’t arguing that it was. Just stating what I thought.

Is it the first of its kind?
Mercury33
I’m honestly kind of surprised there isn’t a porn streaming service already. I guess cause there’s still too much free stuff out there?

Guest
It may be in that WSJ article (paywall'd), but apparently Disney is going to do to Fox exactly what many warned, which is to water down it's release schedule with more family friendly product and a move away from almost all genre filmmaking. But X-men and FF4 can be in MCU movies in the future sooooooooooo totes worth it.
Brick
Just reboot the X-Men series and add it to the MCU, thank you. Although I will feel bad for Ryan Reynolds since that will mean no Deadpool 3.

They could definitely make it work especially if they tie in the appearance of Mutants as somehow being a result of Alien activity in the MCU (or however they try to explain the appearance of mutants) There's definitely room in the MCU for mutants. 20 MCU movies in the past ten years, as part of a very deliberately constructed shared universe. How many Marvel comics in that same timeframe, bound to the same constraints? Is there a legitimate apples to apples comparison to be made here? Anything could happen - the DCEU could be a towering cinematic achievment but for a handful of mis-steps at the exec level. Bringing X-Men, F4, etc. could make the MCU really special, or result in a few more flicks that reinforce the notion that the MCU is a mile wide and an inch deep.
