best3444 1,720
It would be nice if I could play this with my pro controller. I dislike swinging anything while gaming. I think that's what initially made me stop playing this game when it released. Hey @Keyser_Soze Remember how you helped me mod/emulate this game on pc? I barely knew you then but you were incredibly patient and kind with helping me.

The waggle is emulated on the right stick. Also they are releasing a sexy pro controller for this game.
best3444 1,720
Interesting. I remember IGN's review on this game is what truly sold me on the game. While playing it I couldn't feel that it was way over hyped. It was still fun if I remember correctly. I'll probably play this when it releases. Give it another shot. gamer.tv 1,315
I tried playing through it about 4 years ago - it just never became interesting over the half of the game that I played. A similar complaint that I had with Twilight Princess, though that was much better.

I own all the original GameCube/Wii Zelda games and would love to get an emulated 'library' of those Zelda games going actually since those consoles have been in storage for a while. Download Dolphin Dump your games If you want motion controls you have to get the IR thing and a bluetooth dongle https://dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/

You can play with a normal controller yes.

Twilight Princess is much of the same. Both games don’t pick up much until the 3rd dungeon area. The puzzles in SS are a true benchmark for the 3D series though. TP was a return to form to OoT in density and difficulty, but SS at its best oozes creativity more in the way Majora’s did. I think that’s why I prefer it. It wasn’t living in the shadow of another game.

Greatoneshere 2,586
This is cool but port The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD from the Wii U to Switch, right? I mean, I just emulate them on PC, but if the Switch versions are even more improved, so will the emulated versions I would do from the Switch versions!

cusideabelincoln 985
I hope they tweak the pace of the game. Specifically what annoyed me was collecting and crafting. Any time you re-loaded the game, they wouldn't let you skip or fast-forward the dialog box that pops up when you find a craftable item, even if you've already found it in a previous session. Shit got old real fast. Tilt-flying was also bad, un-intuitive, and made you twist your wrist at painfully awkward angles. Everything else about the game I loved, and since I've only beaten it once I would really like to play it again.
TwinIon 2,251
It looks like a pretty low effort port to me. In the age of next gen upgrades and frequent high quality remakes, they'll have to do more to make me care about this game.

Well, I don't think there was any chance the game was going to be remade, given The Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD for Wii U were only remasters, I think the key here is it better be a good remaster with quality of life upgrades. BloodyHell 549
I want this. Its my least favorite 3d Zelda, but Id still give it an 8.5, so its not like I don't love it. But I really, really want those Joycons.
EternallDarkness 729
was really hoping for some kind of 35th anniversary collection for Zelda, not just a HD release of Skyward.

There’s a source on Twitter who says wind Waker and TP are 100 percent coming this year. He was spot on on another game that turned out to be true, though I don’t remember what. Some of the stuff that was added to the Wii U versions wouldn't make sense to have in the Switch versions. Mostly the stuff that centered around Miiverse. Obviously using the Gamepad for items/weapons would be out as well.

dualhunter 303
I never played it but I watched a speed run. It didn't make me want to play it but it was interesting seeing the exploits used to warp around and skip parts.
Bacon 2,357
If there was a 3 pack of WW, TP, and SS for under 100 then I'd get that. But I already bought the Collector Editions of WW and TP on the Wii U and the CE of SS on the Wii. Have no interest in paying new game price for games from like 4 gens ago. Id settle for more than the half assed attention they paid to NES and SNES. Im sure there’s a reason but how was the WiiShop so full of awesome stuff and then basically nothing after that. Rodimus 326
This is the one Zelda game I have and not played at all. I'm glad this is getting a release in HD. The art style should scale well. I'm glad not to have to use motion controls. I really want wind waker and twilight princess on switch and not stuck on Wii U. I really loved Wind Waker.
