If you regularly buy almond milk, you are a bad person

So I had a small glass of oat milk yesterday. Not really a fan of drinking it straight. It's not gross, but it just tastes like oat water. Not exactly appetizing. Using it with my cereal today and it's fine. I don't much notice the taste. Since I got this at Whole Foods yesterday, I need to see what the normal price is like to compare it to the milk I buy.

I don't think I could give up dairy for oat milk.

The product consists primarily of oat milk, with smaller proportions of coconut milk, coconut oil, soy protein isolate, chicory root extract, cane sugar, sunflower oil, a vitamin and mineral blend, sea salt, locust bean gum, gellan gum, sunflower lecithin, soy lecithin and “natural flavor.”

Jesus Christ

Cane sugar = I'm out!

I've stopped consuming any sugar at all if I can help it!

Sugar in and of itself isn’t bad. You should be looking at net carbs and this milk has half the net carbs of the unsweetened Planet Oat milk.

I actually NEED those carbs in order to somewhat maintain my macronutrient balance otherwise my carb intake would be practically negative :p

With macros you count total carbs and this only has 1 gram less per serving!
