Sell D1P reputation, the more you have the more valuable.

Oh you called it.

But now it dropped like a rock from $12 to $9.50.  Damn volatile shit.  Wonder when I should buy back in...

They did an offering, that's why it dropped, not volatile, just annoying shelf at a $10/insider-share. Then they PR'd some of the Phase 3 data and the shelf offering was eaten up within a couple of hours, closed, and then it ran again to $11+.

I was interested in trades but not even really 100% sure what that means. Should I shoot you a PM?

Yes. I'm likely done posting here for the time being if not forever but I'll check my PMs as I get emailed. A trade is something you get rid of short-term, an investment is something you'll hold with no short-term plan of selling as you believe in the company. The majority of criticism here is a lack of understanding that virtually every small cap is a huge POS that you should be hyped to get rid of - you should be trying to make money on things like OCGN, not marry it for years.

The apes over on WSB posting MVIS memes now instead of GME ones has me both terrified and excited. There is enough of an apparent short interest out there that a squeeze could happen but no where to the degree that happened with GME but the hype train is going full no brakes right now question becomes if it crashes before we get some PR or other good news on the earnings call Thursday, if the stock stays strong up to the EC and we get good news of the LiDAR A sample or even better a buyout/strategic partnership things could go parabolic. It should be noted that the earnings call this week has been moved up from May as well, their last EC was only 7 weeks ago, it is very rare that a company moves up an earnings call that much for anything but good news. I really don't put any faith into the chart readings that a lot of people seem to do but I can't help but hope they are right.

I've been in this stock since it was under .50/share since that time it has gone from, well this is helping my overall balance, to this stock is kicking ass, to well this is legitimately going to make a difference in the quality of my retirement to wow I might be able to retire at 55 and if it keeps trucking that retirement age could drop considerably. This is well into life changing money for me at this point.

My totally not financial professional and highly biased opinion I honestly think a buyout of the whole company could be valued at 6-10 billion, that would be about $38-$63/share. If they just sell one of their 5 major verticals things get much trickier to predict. The ones likely to be sold off are either automotive LiDAR or their AR tech the latter of which Microsoft is currently licensing, it has never been officially announced who is using it but MVIS acknowledged a major tech company is and a user on reddit bought a MS hololens 2 and did a tear down on it and found the MVIS part in it complete with label, MS needs this tech especially since they just got a 22 billion dollar contract from the military.

The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ("SEC) recently approved amendments to rules regarding investor protections when trading in Over the Counter ("OTC") securities. One potential impact of these rule changes is that when current information regarding issuers' financials is not available, and/or quotations are also unavailable, such securities may be designated as Caveat Emptor ("buyer beware"). These changes have the potential to create conditions where the security is difficult to sell or trade.

Effective May 25, 2021, TD Ameritrade will restrict orders in Caveat Emptor-designated securities to liquidation only. Only closing orders will be accepted after this time and existing orders to open new positions will be canceled. We are notifying you as you may have traded in or held positions in securities of this type within the past 12 months.

Why is this change happening?

A Caveat Emptor security is a designation the OTC Markets Group places on a security after a determination was made surrounding the company that there may be potential risk to investors. Caveat Emptor securities also have the potential for illiquid and highly volatile conditions.

Some of the potential risk factors may include:

  • a potentially misleading or manipulative stock promotion,
  • known investigation of fraudulent or criminal activity committed by the company or insiders,
  • regulatory trading suspensions or halts,
  • disruptive or undisclosed corporate actions, and/or
  • other reasons related to the public interest.

The current list of impacted securities (which is subject to change) can be found here

The dumbest person I went to high school with, who happens to be a male model, said on Facebook that if you're not investing in crypto you're missing out on the opportunity of a lifetime and you should download coinbase yesterday. The bubble is bubbling

@Joe VXRT worth a buy? You have been pretty good with your covid picks.

I wish I knew, amigo. Ultra high risk ultra high reward. Last time they had an announcement of Phase 1 results, it flopped. But imagine if this shit somehow works? Oh boy.
