I know the majority of Republican's are not racist assholes, mostly just assholes, but where did they lose their minds and ability to see what is clear as day? Trump is not a Republican. Trump is not a conservative. Trump is Trump. He only cares about fame and money. I don't think he even cares about power, as the power of being President was only to gain more money and fame. Is it just that the sane people on the right can't admit they were duped by a conman so they just double down and pretend that they are just poor god fearing red blooded Americans that are being denied a platform to speak? Nobody has been banned for having "traditional" values. Sure you might be mocked, and your business boycotted when we find out you won't serve gay people, but nobody has been banned from Twitter for that. My guess is it’s contractually obligated to do so. You could argue that hosting criminal content voids the contract, but Amazon is probably just shoring up any possible avenue for a future lawsuit. But the catch is that everyone who posts to the site must use their real name and be verified before they are allowed to post. So if you want to post some insurrectionist or illegal stuff, go ahead!
