Seriously. If the security state can't find these chuds then it's time to shut the whole thing down

If this ludicrously over-funded state security apparatus has to rely on the general public to identify people who GLADLY posted their actions on social media, then what the hell good are they anyway?

I'm just shocked that the big bad USA will fucking take this. We are way weaker than we've appeared.

The USA has never known what to do with domestic threats from white people. We're really good at blowing up foreigners and people of color, but good old white insurrectionists/terrorists? Half this country could literally rise up and try to kill off the other half of this country and there is fucking presedent to just let them off with a stern letter.

Download some illegal mp3s on Napster in the early 2000s, found and fined and taken to court within a few days.

Take a shit on Nancy Pelosi's keyboard, take a selfie and post it on your personal social media account under your full legal name, government's gonna need your help finding this rascal.

I don't know that they're particularly good at that. Especially recently.

Why did three American ex-Special Forces soldiers try to overthrow the Venezuelan government — and how did the plan go so wrong?

In other words -- and boy, am I going out on a limb here -- there could very well have been a "silent coup".

This article essentially echoes what I said last night:  there was effectively a "successful" coup yesterday.

The peaceful transition of power has failed.

That is: Confronted with this split between the president and the vice president, the military rejected its constitutional commander in chief and sided with Pence. It was the reasonable thing to do, with political violence spinning out of control in the nation’s capital.

You're confusing incompetence with a deliberate CHOICE. For DECADES Law Enforcement and National Security agencies have said that the biggest threat to this country id domestic terrorism and right wing extemist groups. There was an FBI report that came out late last year saying that these groups have infilitrated law enforcement nationally. This country has CHOSEN to not do anything about it. Its a choice.

Also I’ve been thinking a lot about Star Wars and have come to the conclusion that Darth Vader being redeemed for one good act after a lifetime of shitty ones is no longer unrealistic. Assuming Pence 25th Amendment’s Trump out of the building, he’ll absolutely be warmly remembered more for that than a lifetime of shit eating.

Eventually, I did see some cops inside. They seemed to be standing by, waiting for orders. I’ve been to plenty of protests in the past year, and let me tell you: They don’t usually wait for orders. I’ve never seen anything like it. There was a guy smoking a cigarette, and a cop actually walked over, gently placed his hand on the guy’s shoulder, and asked him to put it out. And that was it.

I should be more clear. It's not that we literally don't know what to do. We just choose not to do anything about it because the people in power are domestic terrorist sympathizers and are keen to not offend the large number of racists in this nation. These people know they could quickly end things by just holding the right people accountable for their actions, but they choose not for whatever bullshit reason they want to spew publicly. They can get away with it because those in power aren't going to have their power and wealth taken from them, so why bother.
