All cars should be designed with front and back plates in mind

Cars look better without front plates.  Vehicle stylists don't care about practicality -- they care about what it looks like in the best case scenario.

I have, they're wrong. Your lines fall apart in most places, it means your design is flawed.

I've only ever lived in PA so I think cars with front license plates look goofy. I do think cars should have to have license plates in the front though. In the event of a crime or accident, it would be an extra option to id the person if they took off or something.
