Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

Mediaite has learned that Fox News was first approached by Rudy Giuliani to report on a tranche of files alleged to have come from Hunter Biden's unclaimed laptop, but that the news division declined.

You know it's fake if even Fox passes on it. However:

In order to make it seem legit, they let NYPost take it instead, and Fox can report on the story and make it seem more legit.

You shouldn't be confident in it even after the election.

What about next year if Biden wins and trump leaves office and the new administration takes over. THEN can I just have a minute to fucking relax? FUCK.

Went to vote today. I always go to the more white side of the county to vote because guarantee no wait times 😂 In and out in around 10 minutes.

Voted for all Dems except one green in a railroad commissioner race. Even in races where I preferred the GOP candidate, I couldn’t do it. The whole party deserves to be punished at the ballot box for Trump.

But didn't you hear Ben Sasse's non-leaked leak?

It was insane for them to think that since it hasn't been a sure thing since 2008 even when they won, but I wouldn't bet money two weeks out.

I get it, "We're TWO WEEKS OUT!" but for the last few months its always been "ITS GOING TO TIGHTEN!" and it just keeps getting further and further apart, and we're almost at 1/4 of the number votes as 2016 total 2 weeks out.  I have zero reason to think the next 2 weeks changes anything, people just expect Trump to cause chaos and are just shrugging it off.

They may not tighten at all. But nobody knows what happens over the next 15 days. For all we know, it could be like 08 where McCain couldn't tighten the race for the life of him.

Also, over 28 million people have already voted in the US. Those votes are locked-in from when Biden has a huge lead, so that protects him from swings to some degree.

Also polling skips people who have voted already, which is one reason races "tighten" as people start to vote. Now though the election day electorate is shaping up to be more democratic by the day.

You don't think he will?  Even if the debate goes great for Biden and terribly for Trump, I still expect Trump to try and pull something, anything out of a hat to keep himself in power.  Don't be surprised if they try to pull the "HUNTER AND JOE LOOKED AT CHILD PORN" card that they hinted at earlier.  Then there's the SCOTUS, voter suppression and sabotage...

Even if Biden wins overwhelmingly on Nov 3rd, I won't rest easy until Trump is out of the White House.

I'm sure he will, i'm just saying no one will care cause thats all hes done in the last 3.5 years, plus by next week at this rate we'll have 50 million votes already in.

The reason I have become less pessimistic about Biden's chances is not because my view of how disasterous a SCOTUS case could be with this lineup has improved.

It is because of just how many swing states Biden looks to be leading.

Obviously, the more Biden runs up the score the harder any legal shenanigans are. But maybe more importantly the larger the cushion the more likely Biden wins one of these must-win Trump states clearly on election night.

I truly worry about what rightwing media can do with 2 weeks of an undecided election. They will have 100 million Americans convinced that any result other than a Trump victory is a stolen election.

However, if you put Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, etc on the board for Biden on election night then even if the numbers aren't in for every state that argument never gets the air it needs to catch fire.

Trump is totally going to bang the Q drum, isn't he? These are his most ardent supporters. Next two weeks should be fun.

And how many of those will be counted by election night?  How many of those will just "mysteriously" disappear or not be counted?

None of that is going to happen, lol.  IF it did, theres nothing to worry about because the US is done.

None of that needs to happen as there are FAR easier ways to steal an election in the US and all it takes is a friendly court and enough state officials to circumvent the popular vote since it's not like the president is voted on that way anyway. The only thing that's stopped that from happening often in the past is because of some stupid gentleman's agreement, but there is no legal mechanism in place and that was certainly be design.

In case anyone thinks I'm just posting shit for shock value, I deadass sincerely want fucking public beheadings for everyone who's enabled Trump. Nothing else is going to get the point across to the politicians who still think supporting Trump is a winning up.

:guillotine: that shit and get it over with.

Hey, I'm only repeating what Republicans are saying they want to do, but sure, let's just listen to them and then assume they would never dare to act on their words.

That's totally worked out well for us over the last few decades.

You're right all is lost, might as well not even vote now!  But really none of this is going to happen.

What's likely to happen at this point is that  tens of thousands of ballots are thrown out due to "mismatching signatures" or some other administrative bullshittery, last minute polling place changes or other voter suppression crap and it might still not be enough.

But these things and more are possible because our voting processes and electoral systems (like the electoral college) are old and broken

Nah, the idea would be to vote and give Biden an overwhelming victory in order to move the media narrative directly to Trump attempting to steal the election. That might spook enough Republicans to stop them. If it's close, any Trump shenanigans will be both sided by the media in a heartbeat.

However, pretending that the GOP will not act on any of the stuff they're planning to is pointless. You have to say least be prepared for that kind of bullshit, because even with an overwhelming Trump loss expect these last few months to be anything but boring. Boring doesn't happen until Biden is sworn in.

And when Biden wins anyway (by a 5% margin, even after 4% of votes are thrown out), centrists will say "See? Nothing to worry about, the system works."
