Joe Biden beats Donald Trump, officially making Trump a one-term twice impeached, twice popular-vote losing president

This was the plaintiff in the case:

The celebrity attorney making the breathtaking request was L. Lin Wood, Jr., who also represented former U.S. Congressman Gary Condit and the alleged victim in the Kobe Bryant case. Wood has also represented Nicholas Sandmann and JonBenét Ramsey’s family. Wood currently represents Kyle Rittenhouse and Marjorie Taylor Greene.

From a larger perspective, this judge effectively dismantled the arguments in every single case that the Imbecile's campaign has filed.

This can essentially be used as precedent for the remaining cases.

So even if for some stupid reason Trump tried to take this all the way up to the SCOTUS, there's a good chance they'd rule against him?

For these particular types of cases, they probably would not even take them up for consideration.

The fact that Trump keeps losing these cases also gives them less pretext to get involved, since they usually prefer for there to be disagreement in the lower courts before taking cases.

That's a great question.

I actually do think the answer is probably "no".

Because of their special status, even protected custody would be out of the question, so spending half of your sentence the hole for tax fraud or whatever sounds like a fair compromise

Assuming Trump is tried and convicted in either state or federal court, he'll likely never see the inside of a prison cell.  More likely, he'd have to serve his sentence under home arrest.

Solitary would work. Post the Secret Service guards outside the cell.
