The refs enforce the rules, but literally one of the worst outcomes of a game is when people see the refs as having decided the game. ShreddieMercury Posted November 7, 2020 Share Posted November 7, 2020 It's tempting to be cynical and treat Biden's win as nothing more than drop of water in an ocean of waste given our current crises, but the fact that his campaign overcame relentless misinformation, state-sponsored propaganda, the electoral college, rampant voter suppression, foreign intervention etc. to garner more votes than any presidential candidate in the nation's history AND elect the first female VP is unbelievably inspiring. It feels like time for a genuine celebration, as this is the first bit of real hope that I've felt in quite some time. Way to fucking go America!!!
