I came here from IGN too but not from the forums most of you guys were on. I stayed on the gaming and entertainment boards back then. Seth was the one who brought me here because I interacted with him on the gaming boards. He was a cool guy and I was sad to see him stop posting here. I never knew about the hijinks going on on the other boards and I never knew dude had been permabanned from IGN although it doesn't surprise me. He takes a weird kind of pride in being banned... there's a lot going on emotionally and mentally with that dude :thinking: 

 

I AM curious about what was the straw that broke the camel's back here though.

 

Yup he's just an all around asshole, that gets off on trying to "trigger" (a term I hate) people, especially if they're more PC/progressive than him. 

 

Just ask @Anathema-who he would constantly get into it with. Always trying to start shit, and get him annoyed. Then when Ana either blocked or ignored him, he moved onto Ohioguy, who while he had some weird views, especially strong religious views, Lucian's trolling of him seemed to always go just too far, and was like bullying the guy. Constantly. Then when OG blocked/ignored/left the boards, Lucian needed another target. I think that was me because he and I got into some big arguments, so he would constantly try and goad me. Even when he came back this time he mentioned and quoted me a couple of times, but I just ignored him because I didn't want to deal with his bullshit. I think part of the reason some people didn't see anything wrong with him back in the day was because they weren't ever one of his targets. 

 

After what was posted in our Discord about his posts on some edgy alt-right Discord, and people could see that he was a shit stain of a human being that really sealed the deal for me. He's a garbage person.

 

Quite frankly I'm a little disappointed in some of you who knew about his posts in that other Discord server, and still welcomed him back with open arms. Is that who we are? We're just going to welcome back open bigots like it's nothing? 

 

Honestly wouldn't have surprised me if @Rachelwasn't banned, and she did the same thing she did with apoc, and Biggie, and found out that Lucian was nothing but lies about who he is, and is actually some 26 year old dweeby white kid that just likes shit posting. I don't think that's the case, but the way he posts it wouldn't surprise me is all. He posts like someone who plays way too many games too much, and doesn't get outside and learn how to properly interact with people.

 

Fuck him. I'm glad he's gone. This place is better without him.

I don't get it either. This place can be so chill. Like there's good information shared on reset, but it's so less community-oriented so here I just feel like it's more fun and easier to get through both good and bad elections.

I didn't even KNOW about the altr right Discord stuff but it is NOT surprising in the least. How did you guys find out about it and what did he say?

He joined the Navy and drifted away. I have him on FB and we used to talk on the phone, but it's been years. We do interact on FB occasionally. Looks like he's doing well.

Not surprising at all, right? Even if it wasn't really an "alt-right" server, it was certainly full of edgelord shits. Nah he knew better when it came to me... I figured out how to deal with his pathetic ass YEARS ago. LITERALLY ignore him. How in the hell did you guys find those posts and trace them back to him?

Someone on the D1P Discord, but I don't know how they also got into that server to spy on it. Apparently Lucian got invited to an even "spicier" server, so who knows how much worse that one was. And yeah you may have known to just ignore him, but I still bet we was going to try and goad you. You're right though, he's best to be ignored, which is why I didn't bother saying anything to him when he came back. Figured it was only a matter of time before he got himself banned.

She was banned because she repeatedly derailed threads where BloodyHell posted.  If she had limited it to one thread on this board, there would be no ban.  All she has to do for the ban to be rescinded is to promise to limit those posts to this board - that's all.

 

She wasn't the one who discovered his participation in those other Discord servers, for the record.

Regarding Lucian - I told the mods to put him on a "zero tolerance" policy when he showed up again.  We monitored every thread he posted in and he kept tiptoeing up to the line.  The last straw was the post on the CEB.

 

I readily admit that I made a mistake in not immediately purging his account when he returned again.  Needless to say, we'll be checking any new registrants to make sure none of them are him.
