Think of him as a more brutal version of Batman. Bats would use a joint lock to to question someone, MK would break the limb first then ask a question. Like @SimpleG said, he's a more brutal version of Batman and Daredevil in terms of fighting style. Very acrobatic which is probably why they've incorporated the Capoeira into the CQC stuff he's doing.
