  1. Did anybody else here watch the series finale? With that ending it's definitely disappointing not getting season 4 but maybe they could do a movie?

  3. God I hope that Quick Silver method comes into take out that Okinawa cancer karate, lol
  4. Name some series that nailed the landing when ending their runs, some that didn't quite make it, and some that shit the bed. I'll start off NAILED IT Six Feet Under The Wire Breaking Bad The Shield Mad Men Spartacus DIDN'T QUITE MAKE IT The Sopranos Battlestar Galactica The Office SHIT THE BED Lost Penny Dreadful (Great series but the last couple of episodes damn near ruin the whole series) That's all I got so far... I'll see if I can think of some more.
  5. From Darkhorizons Disney+ Plans A “Willow” Sequel Series Previously Howard says a follow-up would likely follow Elora Danan, the grown-up infant princess whom Jean Marsh’s Queen Bavmorda was trying to destroy, and has now confirmed it will be a continuation. However Warwick Davis’ Willow is returning, Howard saying: “Warwick will be in it. Warwick is so cool and so good and he’s such a good actor that I really hope we get the chance to see the mature Willow in action.” Could be fun if done with love ala "Cobra Kai" and not hate ala... well, you know
  6. May 1st, 1999, Spongebob was introduced to the world.
  7. Woo what a wait that was for season 2. I was afraid with all the turmoil surrounding the show the quality would really drop off but I loved the first episode. I think to the benefit of non book readers they’re continuing to be more clear in the direction of the show which was a little muddled through most of season 1. We’ve got clear motivations and goals now. And the performances across the board for all the Gods is outstanding. Can’t wait for the rest of the season.
  8. Anyone else watching Barry? I thought season 1 was very good, and season 2 is pretty great as well. Last night's episode was amazing. It was this crazy surreal shenanigans that really was the best example of it's particular blend of slapstick dark comedy. Really just an incredibly entertaining episode of television.
  9. https://www.today.com/popculture/all-family-jeffersons-are-returning-tv-one-night-reboot-t152524 Our dearly departed: Your new Archie and Edith for the special: Costanza is thrilled by the Edith selection. And the Jeffersons:
  10. Fuck this show. Seriously. I haven't been this emotional over a show plot in years. Fucking absolutely gut-wrenching.
  11. Surprised not to see anything up for this yet. First episode was released today and was pretty fun with them racing American Muscle Cars in Detroit. Need to catch up on the past seasons but I might have to do that over the coming weeks

  13. Just as a heads up to anyone else who was looking forward to this as much as I was: Vulture did an interview with the "President of Entertainment Networks" for AMC, Sarah Barnett. That interview can be found here and contains a few interesting pieces of news about various AMC shows. The news about Better Call Saul is summed up in this article, but the gist of it is that they are delaying the next season until 2020 because Vince Gilligan is tied up with the Breaking Bad movie. It seems like a very reasonable thing to do, IMO; as much as I love binging on a season of BCS in the spring, I'd rather they delay it to ensure the standard level of quality. Also interesting is that they noted that this may be the last season of the show since Breaking Bad was also capped at five seasons and things are quickly catching up to where they were in that show.
  14. This doc has been moving around on the periphery for me. I knew it was out there and that it was about DS9, but didn't look into it too much. Now they have a trailer out, and it's looking amazing. Can't wait until it receives a public release. @Jason @SaysWho?

  16. Never watched Community, but noticed the other day that the entire series was on sale on iTunes for 20 bucks so I figured what the heck. I'm midway through the 2nd season already. Loving it. Abed's character is hilarious.
  17. I loved this book 'bigly' so I am hoping this turns out to be great.
