  1. Dragon's Dogma will definitely find a home on Nintendo Switch. Dragon's Dogma is getting a fresh chance Dragon's Dogma is nearly identical to it's PS4/X1 counterparts Reviews Nintendo Life 8/10 "There’s no denying that it is rough in parts and really could have done with a full remaster rather than a straight re-release, but Dragon’s Dogma nonetheless remains a fantastically gripping role-playing experience that manages to straddle the divide between exhilarating real-time action and stat-based adventuring." Game Revolution 4/5 "If you’ve never played the action RPG before, then this is a great place to rectify that and it provides an easy way for veterans to sink some hours into it while killing time on commutes." Nintendo World Report 8/10 "Dark Arisen has some of the most unique systems in modern RPGs, and great combat to go along with it. It’s a great adventure, and if they can improve the loads after the inns it’ll be essential." App Trigger 7.5/10 "Though lacking the polish you see in AAA open-world RPGs, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen boasts an incredibly deep class and a battle system that makes for potentially dozens of hours of fun and at a great value for what you are paying. "
  2. Kotaku journo hears "Retarded", songstress actually says "Retort It" Even the ideological echo chamber, ResetEra thinks this particular Kotaku journalist is simply being offended for the sake of it. And games journalists wonder why they catch so much shit.
  3. Lots of stuff here. We finally got some details on Joker and are introduced to the new stage builder. Version 3.0 looks to be a pretty good update.
  4. I just picked one of these up. However, the right trigger is slightly more curved than the left trigger. It is noticeable and annoying. Did they do this on purpose or did I get a bad one?
  5. Please recommend me some 3DS games, any genres really. If it looks interesting I'll check it out. Right now I have Pokemon Y and Ultra Sun, Bravely Default, A Link Between Worlds and Fire Emblem Awakening. I want to stock up before they disappear or become stupidly expensive. Merci.
  6. Seemingly unique prototype of UWC has been dumped for preservation.

  9. Game Informer article According to a report from outlet Direct Feed Games, an outlet that has a strong track record for rumors especially centering around Nintendo, Microsoft and Nintendo are about to get together in a big way in the near future. Not only will some Microsoft games find their way to the Switch, but it looks like the entire Game Pass library might arrive via the magic of streaming.

  13. God Is A Geek Etrian Odyssey Nexus is the perfect send off for the best DRPG franchise that honestly won't be the same without a dual screen system. 9/10 Nintendo Life Etrian Odyssey Nexus stands as the purest distillation of the series formula yet. 9/10 Nintendo World Report Etrian Odyssey Nexus is an elegant farewell to a series and a system. If this is the last we see of the Etrian series, this is a high note to go out on. 9/10 Hardcore Gamer Etrian Odyssey Nexus is a great time for those who want a long journey that will always keep them on their toes. 4/5 Digitally Downloaded With Etrian Odyssey Nexus, we've got a near-complete realisation of everything Etrian Odyssey has stood for for so many years 4/5 Game Informer The core loop of leveling up, selling items, and crafting new gear is as satisfying as ever. 8/10 Nintendo Enthusiast Etrian Odyssey Nexus is dungeon crawling excellence 8/10 GameSpot Etrian Odyssey Nexus is the series' swan song on the 3DS, and it's a farewell celebration well worth attending, combining many beloved elements from across the whole of the series. 8/10 RPG Site Nexus is unabashedly a love-letter to the series so far, and it's certainly not trying to hide it. 8/10 Metro Game Central While Etrian Odyssey Nexus is billed as the last entry on the 3DS it’s also not an entirely new game. But we still love it anyway. 7/10

  15. Brief hint of more services to come to Nintendo Switch Online as well. My read of this is that this is going to be more akin to how the 2DS was positioned relative to the 3DS than the minor hardware bump/refresh people were speculating was coming. Which if I'm right would mean that this isn't supplanting the current model a la PS4-->PS4 Slim, but will instead be in addition to it.
