  1. So I was talking with @Bacon because I got West of Loathing and it is just so ME. But then we started talking about actual dream games. For me I always wanted a 2D platformer with the animation quality of sf3 (and cuphead is close but not quite there, also not my kind of game) staring a penguin character. Mine is simple but I know Bacons is much more advanced and also curious what ideas y’all have!
  2. I just wanted to recommend this game. It's almost like an action JRPG smashed together with Blade Runner. There's tons of philosophy, some decent writing, and the story takes a lot of twists and turns. I think it's pretty damn innovative. My biggest criticism is probably the mini map (it isn't always clear where you need to go at times) and on PC you had to download the FAR mod for 2560x1440 144hz. The music was 10/10, and my overall subjective experience with the game is probably a 9/10
  3. Holt did not go into detail on exactly what pack contents FIFA 19 will disclose the odds of - and when we followed up with EA, the company declined to offer any additional information.
  4. According to TMZ, Bethesda is suing Warner Bros. and Behaviour Interactive, the developer of the game. In court documents, Bethesda reveal it contracted Behaviour in 2014 to work on Fallout Shelter before Behaviour went on to make the Westworld game for Warner.
  5. Today Blizzard revealed Hero 28 aka Hammond aka Wrecking Ball. A hamster in a giant mech ball he is part the Tank archetype he is currently playable in the PTR. I didn't expect this. Granted I knew there was a character named Hammond that escaped the Lunar colony but didn't expect him to be a hamster can't wait to try him.
  6. Destiny 2 is on sale for $10 brand new at Gamestop this week. I wasn't a huge fan of Destiny but when I did play it, I was entertained. Just curious on some thoughts. Thanks!
  7. Following notice of a motion submitted by the Australian Greens yesterday, the Australian Senate has supported a move to have the Environment and Communications References Committee investigate the use of loot boxes in video games.

  10. Lumines remastered is out now. It is on everything so pick your poison. Want it in 4k or handheld? I wish it was the PS Vita Version as the series has made some nice litle changes over the years. This Puzzle game was the game that got me to jump on a PSP day one that and I could put videos on it like Family Guy and the Simpsons. This game went from playing it in the bathroom or where ever I had a few minutes to not that at all as a game could last an hour or more later. The Switch Version talks about all the rumble it will give you. COming from the Creator of Rez I can see them going pretty far with rumble. I think might double dip. This game feels great on a handheld and headphones and I want to play in 4k as well.
  11. This is a long shot but if anyone went to E3 and has an extra Kojima Productions hat they were selling in the Sony tent, I would love to have one. There’s only one guy on eBay with them right now and they’re way overpriced!
  12. There was multiplayer mode for Dark Souls III called, literally, battle royale. That’s according to indie dev and YouTube Lance McDonald, who has recently shifted his datamining and pre-release exploration efforts from Bloodborne to Dark Souls III. And, indeed, this cut mode was present in an alpha version of the game.

  14. And holy crap what a kick in the gut. Somebody must have been cutting some onions behind me when i was wrapping that game up. Such an un-assuming game with a story i did not expect, even though i began to have my suspicions as the game went on. I played it through Game Pass and i'm so glad i did. It is the type of game i'd normally overlook if it came down to buying a game. For those who have playedthrough it, Eurogamer has an excellent feature where the creator of the game explains all of the symbolism and the meaning behind each area. Its a great read and worth your five minutes.
  15. The new game places more emphasis on how to build a better world out of the ashes, versus simply surviving in the original. Based on the short demo that Techland was showing at this month’s E3 Expo, that means more player choice, and , not shying away from the political implications of those choices.
  16. As someone who helped kickstart it and then hoping they worked out the kinks this is kinda lame.
  17. The final season of The Walking Dead will be the last Telltale series to use its buggy, glitch-ridden crapfest of an engine.
