  2. “Bring the Crunch”, released last night. It’s horror-themed, seems to be spoofing movies like Friday the 13th. Can’t wait to play it this weekend!
  3. Since the thread with all our Fortnite and Epic Games names has gone the way of all threads () I don't remember all of my fellow D1P Battlers to add. With the introduction of Friend Links, I figure this would be a good time to get everyone synched up and playing together again. So post your Friend Links! Fortnite Friend Link: https://fortnite.com/friend/Slug_DC Note to console-only players - When you accept the friend invite you'll have to create an Epic Games account which you can then link to your PSN/XBL/Nintendo ID so that you can play with us PC players. 4. “Our current plan for the B.E.T.A.,” Bethesda says, “is it will be the full game and all your progress is saved for launch. We hope you join us!” Beta access will go out to a group of eligible participants starting in October - you'll need to pre-order to get in. "The PC version of Fallout 76, for both the B.E.T.A. and the launch, will be available only via Bethesda.net, not on Steam"
  5. Asking for a friend. @SaysWho? For me, it has to be a really good game without too many parts that drag. I know I've replayed Sacrifice on PC at least a dozen times, I've replayed FF7 (at least up to the third chapter ) a bunch of times, as well as Super Mario RPG. Shorter games like Panzer Dragoon Orta and Starfox 64 I've replayed too many times to count. RPGs with a branching story are another big one, though, again, it cannot drag too often; for instance, I tried replaying Dragon Age a few times but I just could never seem to get that far into it on my replays, however, KOTOR1 on OG XBOX (and later on PC) I played through that at least 4-5 times. I've also replayed Halo 3 numerous times as well as certain missions in CE, Halo 2 and especially Reach. Anyway, what about you guys?
  6. Onrushing? Anyone Playing this insane looking game? If so impressions and on what console guys? Seems to be scoring high everywhere too!!
  7. Germany's game rating agency USK announced today that videogames will now be given the same consideration as movies with regard to allowable content—which means that, as works of art, they are exempt from the ban.
  8. Battlefield V blog post with the details as to the objectives of this playtest.
  9. Alexios agrees to aid the legendary physician Hippokrates in this mission gameplay from Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
  10. Wow. Ign fired the guy His response to the issue was. If you steal from one person its called Plagiarizing if you steal from a group of people its Research or something to that effect
  11. Battlefield V is offering a 10% off if you purchase digitally and now I see We Happy Few is getting 15% off if you pre order as well. This is great news especially after Best Buy is discontinuing their gaming buying service. I hope this trend continues because this was a incentive that mostly retailers or Amazon has done. Glad it's finally making its way to consoles.
  12. Because I have yet to see it. Everything I have played across both consoles looks pretty much identical. Maybe there's that one game I've yet to play that really showcases the X1X's "power".
  13. I figure the other reveals got posted so why not this one?
  14. http://www.spookysquid.com/rsd/ Available on Steam now, coming to consoles later this year.
  15. Anybody else playing this on PS4? Shit is nice.
  16. Game appears to be growing quite well, all of my favorite Overwatch pros have moved to it almost exclusively so I can't be alone in thinking the game is incredible. I loved PUBG but felt it performed like dookie and trying to play it on a laptop was pretty much a no go, Fortnite came around and I loved how it performed and looked I just HATE the building and it annoyed me enough to make me check out something else to get my fix. I enjoyed Paladins even if it was a poor mans overwatch but upon hopping into Realm Royale (that was originally Paladins Realm Royale) it's clear all of their resources are going into this game, it's polished, well designed and a ton of fun IMO. The Class System with Abilities and ability to craft legendary weapons unique to your class give it a unique feel and it helps keep the action going because people don't just move to the next safe zone they move to the nearest forge to improve their gear (and you're going to do better by engaging as you need to kill people to collect the Chicken Trophies you need to craft a legendary class weapon, as well as enough shards by breaking down loot you don't need, to get enough you're either going to have to scour an entire village or kill 1-2 people and destroy their stuff). I'm having a blast solo but I'm hoping to build up a list of people who play as Duos are where it's at and my friends seem to be interested but getting them to actually download and try it has been a chore, I've started twitch streaming even though I have a face that's only fit for Radio and a Voice that's only fit for print... but I had a good run last night so if you want to see how it plays, check it out.

  18. As the mainstream moves onto pastures new, what does the future hold for this shadowy genre? The short answer is that the future is hugely exciting. For the longer answer, we need to go right back to where the immersive sim began.
