  1. On Reset: "I wouldn't say they were shooting for mediocre - I'd say they adopted the "we can fix this after launch" mentality as a way to actually ship the game within this fiscal year, which was dictated by EA."
  2. I'm trying to not spoil myself by looking anything up but yeah...curious what others' thoughts are. I started playing The Witness last night, loved the aesthetics, atmosphere and puzzles. This morning I played another hour maybe and I'm starting to hit brickwall after brickwall with no direction or clue how to even approach some puzzles. Is the game generally considered hard or am I just rust and/or stupid in regards to solving anything requiring brain power? Also, so far I've activated two of those lasers but have abandoned many puzzles so I hope I'll even remember where this stuff was...
  3. Do you own? How many have you Actually Played? How Many have you beaten? I'll go first... I own Nine: Demon's Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, Nioh, Lords of The Fallen, The Surge and Ashen. I've actually played seven... haven't touched Dark Souls 2 or 3 yet. I've beaten two: Demon's Souls and Lords of the Fallen I was closed to beating Dark Souls but then my O.G. PS3 died and I lost my save... 70 freakin' hours I will eventually beat them all though. Oh and Bonus points for anyone who can put me up on a Souls-like game that I haven't played or am not aware of. Any system including P.C.
  4. Titanfall 2 is on sale for $8 on PSN at the moment, and I've heard really great things about the campaign. If you've played through it, do you think it's substantial enough to warrant purchasing the game at this price? I don't have PS+ and generally don't play online so I would only play the campaign. Thanks!

  6. Games you love, but you know there's a few things you can add that would make them more fun. Examples? Horizon Zero Dawn - Amazing game, but a climb mechanic would be cool (not just the automatic platforming setpieces from Uncharted that's already there, but climbing onto any ledge like in many AAA open world games), some new weapons that add more options for combat and traversal (maybe a grapple thingy like in Sekiro that lets you grapple to machines and ledges), and the ability to dive in water. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 - Put that amazing gore back in ya knobs, kthnxbye Devil May Cry 5 - Reduce the V missions (maybe 3 chapters), replace with more Dante and Nero, make the default difficulty SoS mode and add the wall run from DMC3 to Dante's moveset. No Man's Sky - Fix the MANY cases of glitches and jank in the game (pop-in, pixelated night sky on some planets, change the warp drive sequences back to first person since third person one stutters like trash on PS4, originally there was an animation showing you entering your ship, now it's a jump cut. Change it back). After the technical shit is on point, simply make life on planets much less frequent (rarely more than one per solar system, often none) and add some more story content and it'll be a pretty neat little space exploration game. Titanfall - Easy, just add physics and Battlefield-style destructible environments.
  7. Take-Two Interactive Software TTWO, +5.16% stock climbed 4.7% on rumors that Sony Corp. SNE, +0.90% “is in advanced board level discussions to acquire Take-Two Interactive in a mostly cash deal,” that would value the company at $130 share,

  11. I'm currently in the process of buying a PVM for my retro gaming consoles and I figured that I would go back and play some games I haven't touched in a really long time and hoping to look for some new ones. To be honest, really nothing is really off of the table. I haven't play things like Super Mario Sunshine or even really Mario 64 to a certain degree (I've played 64 at a friends house, but never really had a save file to try to beat the game). So recommend me something. Current Retro Consoles: NES SNES 64 GC Xbox Genesis PSX PS2 I plan on buying a Saturn at some point
