  1. Just picked up Princess Peach: Showtime! yesterday. And also got a physical Collector’s Edition of Shakedown Hawaii…for the Nintendo 3DS, of all things. I regret nothing!
  2. My CE came in! I can’t link a photo since “Xwitter” is banned from the site (because reasons) but I finally have it. It’s pretty cool. 😎
  3. Got excited for a sec…thought this might be a sequel or something to Chrono Trigger/Cross. I leave disappointed.
  4. Man Steam sales are pretty great. Besides Psychonauts 2, I also nabbed Pizza Tower and MARVEL’s Midnight Suns for dirt cheap. I wanted to get more games but I feel I should show some restraint. Otherwise my backlog may actually kill me, haha.
  5. Looking forward to picking this up tomorrow…and then having to wait to play it since my daughter will likely be playing this constantly. She really liked the demo.
  6. Looks pretty cool. Though I do wish they would have stuck with hand-drawn art and animation. Just so it "looks/feels" different from SNK's other fighter(s). But it seems like it plays well (never doubted that) so I'll be keeping an eye on this for sure.
  7. I just added Mordon to my ranks. Took several “Use Items” but oh well. Seems he will be a good asset to the army.
  8. Thanks for the tip. Right now I’m okay. Alain’s unit is unstoppable and Josef can basically take on an army alone.
  9. Absolutely. Damn shame Switch doesn’t have it (or some equivalent) but…whatcha gunna do? Maybe the next Nintendo system will bring that feature back?
  10. Seems I’m saving everyone in the surrounding area in the beginning. Except for the person I originally set out to rescue. Just got the I need to get more “renown” or something. I can’t beef up my units past a group of three yet. But I’ve hired several mercenaries, with nothing for them to do.
  11. Agreed. There's something about being able to snap the system shut after playing and slip it into a pocket or backpack and be on your way. And also the smaller, compact size of a "true" handheld is missed.
  12. F-ZERO™ 99 for Nintendo Switch - Nintendo Official Site WWW.NINTENDO.COM Buy F-ZERO™ 99 and shop other great Nintendo products online at the official My Nintendo Store. Positives: It’s free! (with NSO subscription) Fast action, lots to do and unlock, and easy to pick-up-and-play-then-put-down-again. Or keep racing for hours and increase your rankings! Negatives: It looks like the SNES game, sounds like the SNES game. And the courses are (mostly) all from that same game. Which…may be a positive, depending on your perspective.
  13. As someone that is playing this on Switch, I can confirm this game works great as a handheld/portable experience and would be a perfect fit for the Deck. (but also perfect on Switch, tbh)
  14. @chakoo I have that game downloaded, but I’d love to get a physical version! EDIT: They still had some CE versions available. I ordered one just now.
  15. Wow this game has a lot of side quests. I’m a freakin’ delivery boy for the kingdom. Do none of these civilians have any sense of entrepreneurship? They could make a killing running simple supplies back to these little towns over and over. And it’ll look like they are doing it to improve the land, but really they are just lining their pockets. (Hey, just like the 1% do in the real world!) Actually wait, never mind. I’M making a killing doing these runs, and lining my pockets for my own personal gain. Yeah, no. Things are good.
  16. Probably not. Though there is a Steam version, so I guess I could just get it on the Deck. But still, it should be on Switch (it's freakin' TENNIS for crying out loud) and it's stupid that it's not on the most popular and best-selling "current-gen" dedicated video game platform. Make a Switch SKU, port it over, whatever...and I'll insta-buy. Until then? ...ehhhh One could say that the uh....ball is in their court.
  17. Broforce Skautfold: Shrouded in Sanity Skautfold: Usurper Another Code: Recollection Opus: Echo of Starsong Tokoyo: The Tower of Perpetuity Unicorn Overlord Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Contra: Operation Galuga
  18. Yeah you're good at tennis games. At least I know you kicked my ass in Mario Tennis back on 3DS. .....I'm not gonna challenge you in this game! LOL EDIT: Oh wait. No Switch version? In that case, not buying.
  19. I’m playing at “Normal” or whatever the difficulty is called just above “Story.” It’s been a smooth ride so far. And yeah, I’m assuming Josef doesn’t stay in your party forever, or the other characters and enemies level up to him so he’s not OP throughout the game. Best to level up everyone as much as possible.
  20. That’s cool. That’s not many people playing it, but that’s also just Steam. I wonder what the numbers are for other platforms. Regardless, plenty of other games to play while waiting for a price drop or sale.
  21. That sounds like a Contra game for sure! But I dunno, when modern games sell for $70 (I’m not sure what currency you use) a game launching at $35 (cheaper price Contra 4 launched with back on DS) ain’t a bad deal. Of course it’s up to the individual to decide what something is worth and what it’s not. I’m sure eventually there will be a sale when the game is $20 or so. Patience may pay off in the end.
