  1. I have never seen a trailer that ended with “in production” lol
  2. At this point this is literally on par with “Eh I’m not interested in seeing the new Tarantino movie with DiCaprio because he’ll always be Jack from Titanic in my eyes”
  3. Just finished episode 4. The “and…here…we…go” gif never had a more appropriate situation.
  4. It’s out? Why did I think it didn’t come out till the 19th?
  5. Your opinions on all of those match mine pretty much exactly. 1 is GOAT level 2 is a fun follow up 3 is underrated fantastic 4/5 aren’t great but they’re solid and fun 6 is embarrassing and confusing H20 is really very good Resurrection sucks but i also sorta love it Remake 1 is watchable but not good Remake 2 is aggressively awful Halloween Modern is actually a really good tribute to the original with a fun twist that gives it its own identity.
  6. Who was Demerzel? Someone said he showed up but I must have missed the introduction. The trader?
  7. I haven’t read the books but Empire is literally the most interesting and compelling part of the show so far. So that seems like it’s a good change haha
  8. Agreed, I thought the whole show gave off a very Stephen King short story vibe
  9. I was actually pretty impressed with those parts. At least the early portrayals of church service before he started getting…a little more into his sermons haha. It was by far the most accurate portrayal of what being in church was like and the flow/sound of the service was like for me growing up. Usually in movies you get either a more Baptist style portrayal or a much grander fancier portrayal.
  10. The poster they revealed today is badass. Also if anyone gets a chance to watch the comic con panel they just did, it’s pretty good and I think will lift a lot of fears that this is going to be bad
  11. Just finished episode 3/4. Yeah just like everyone else I’m completely and utterly engaged in everything on Tranton and with the Empire. Everything else was a giant ball of meh until episode 4 and now I’m pretty into that stuff as well. The time jumps weren’t confusing but were a little jarring and disappointing in that I wanted to spend more time with those characters. But after 4 episodes im getting a better sense of how this is all going to work so im more ok with the jumps. Also Lee Pace is amazing and I could watch a full 60 min of just him.
  12. I listen to NY sports radio in the car a lot and the radio ads for this race have been hilarious. They’re always a few serious concerns and then snuck in the middle all low key is something like “how can we trust a man who hates dogs”
  13. I haven’t read the books but I think someone said the last few books take place after another time jump and are mostly about Uhtred’s kids. And that the end of book 10 has a logical stopping point for the series. I can’t remember where I heard that though so I could be wrong.
  14. Is that bad? It’s 28 less than Skyfall and 18 less than Spectre but given it’s still Covid times I assumed 60 was a decent number
  15. The payoff of the Uhtrer/Alfred arc is the single best thing in TV ever. I’ll fight people over this. Also yeah def read them and everything else Cromwell has written. There is no better “battle author” out there. Every book I continue to be amazed at the picture he paints when describing battles and fight sequences. For the love of god someone adapt Warlord Chronicles!!!!
  16. Yeah I think I remember it had a kind of a Jacobs Ladder/Lovecraftian thing going on where the detective keeps seeing things no one else does. Pinhead doesn’t show up until the very literal end of the movie I think.
  17. This time of year? Yeah they’re all worth watching. Are they good? Fuck no, but all of them are at least fun. Oddly enough I really liked the one with the dude who plays the QB in The Program playing the detective. It’s plays out more like a thriller/mystery than the rest. I have no idea why but I always really enjoyed that one.
  18. This review is 4 points to low and thus must discarded as trash. I’m sorry it’s nothing personnel, just the rules. @Emblazon knows what I’m talking about.
  19. H20 is decent. It’s a very 90’s teen horror movie but Jamie Lee Curtis elevates it. Then you’re in for a rough time after H20 😂
