  1. huh? I can get behind prison for Trump, but this isn’t a grift that’s illegal or uncommon. It’s what athletes have been doing for decades. Put your face on everything. unless you’re not talking about him selling bibles.
  2. The Dan Schneider stuff was right out in the open too. It’s crazy.
  3. I managed to completely quarantine myself from spoilers of any kind. I only saw the very first Rebirth trailer where they announced the date. otherwise I went in completely unspoiled, and finished that way. I also read A Tale of Two Pasts, which is a canon novel by Nojima about Aerith and Tifa’s background. Aerith’s doesn’t break a ton of new ground, mostly expands on what we know. Tifa’s tells a whole new story. We get retelling of her childhood first, then the story of what happened from Nibelheim to the point we meet her at 7th Heaven. It’s certainly not high brow quality fiction or anything, but it’s a ton of fun, and is about characters most of us love.
  4. I really want to replay this again soon, but just the main story. I absolutely loved this game. So much so that I have no interest in Dragon’s Dogma right now. There is nothing I want to play except the final game. So yeah, the further I get from the end, the more I absolutely love the game.
  5. It’s definitely not terrible game design, you might not like it, but it’s not bad game design. It’s also FF7. Mini games are a huge part of it.
  6. I didn’t need to grind, but I did absolutely everything, so I had multiple materia of almost every kind maxed. Every character hasd a maxed cure, at least lvl 3 hp up, etc. Enemy skillxHP absorb using Static Discharge is incredible.
  7. Dude, no Idea. It took me 110 hours, I wasn’t paying attention to how long the story took. You’d also be missing out on fantastic side stories. 8 hours of just story won’t get you there though, I think. Every chaper is pretty damn long.
  8. I’ll have to watch it all again. I don’t necessarily agree with all of your points, but I only saw it once in an admittedly slightly emotional state.
  9. It’s done, and frankly I loved it. Tears in my eyes. still so much for the finale, but im so glad they ended the way they did. Ending Spoilers: few games have been more worth my money.
  10. Yeah, there’s additional quests in each area as well. Some of them are fun. Some are killing more Cactaurs for points. I’ve finished every Queensblood Challenge except the very final one. completed every quest. Every piece of World Intel. Even searched the So after I finished chapter 12 today, 13 seems like it will be a straight push to the end. I was able to stay completely spoiler free throughout, so that was good. man, I’m excited for the final game.
  11. I went Ice fishing for a week, because fishing shacks needed to be off the water by tomorrow. Started Chapter 13 just now. The game is getting tense.
  12. I mean, they deserve protection. this board likes to hate them, but in today’s environment they definitely need them. people keep talking about their awful decisions, but I don’t see them making many. Killing Roe was awful, but when you listen to constitutional lawyers, it was probably the right decision legally. There was nothing in the constitution that supports the original decision of Roe V Wade. Abortion should have been codified into law in 2009, but you couldn’t even get the DNC to support gay marriage back then. Otherwise they haven’t really made any bad decisions, just decisions the left doesn’t like.
  13. You can’t be serious, right? Like, there’s doomerism, then there’s nonsense. Trump, nor any other politician, has the power to stop elections. You’re listening to too much Joy Reid and the view.
  14. From 9 to where I am now (chapter 11) the story is really starting to hit its stride. The game is so big, with so much to do, so the story feels very spread out if you’re doing everything, but with all the great character moments a lot of the side stuff brings, you’re never short on interesting moments. like, theres a Chapter 10 world intel quest that focuses on Avalanche that was really fun and sweet. Cosmo Canyon is really great too. The Bugenhagan scene is incredible this time around. 9 is definitely the longest chapter so far, it covers two huge areas.
  15. I just can’t focus on two games at once, except maybe a puzzle game on the side, like tetris effect. I love Helldivers, but I haven’t touched it since rebirth. I’ll get back to it once im done. At least until Dragon’s Dogma 2.
  16. You need to do a side quest from the mayor of Under Junon to get in there Edit: I guess you got it after I posted this.
  17. So far, I have to say it’s actually pretty special. you weirdo’s who refuse to play FF7 should be at least watching a thorough recap of FF7 and Crisis Core on YouTube.
  18. Imo, this is the best combat in any RPG. This is truly everything I’ve always wanted Final Fantasy to be. A serious story with fun an interesting character moments, a huge dose of goofy Japanese goodness, stupid, edgy style, and more Tifa. I’m dreading getting to the final chapters and having this end for another 4 years or more, but I truly couldn’t be more in love with what I’ve gotten so far. The key to getting me to do weird open world checklist stuff? Paint it in FF7, give a heavy dose of FF7 Lore, and two annoying and thirsy AI’s.
  19. Chocobo Racing is truly a top notch mini-game. I remember breeding and racing chocobos so damn much in the original, but the racing wasn’t this much fun. I do hope the 3rd game expands on racing and adds breeding.
