  1. I assumed VR was discontinued years ago. They still make games for that silly thing?
  2. At this point I want to see an assembly cut of the film where the good guy Predators who have been living on Earth for years to help the humans prepare of the coming invasion and on their down time hunt animals inside a gated reserve. I want Edward James Almos' character back in who recruits Predators into the military who are against the invasion. I want to see the scene where the dying big Predator points to the autistic kid and says "you are a true warrior". I want to see that box the rogue Predator stole to open up and reveal a bunch of hybrid mutant creatures that start attacking the humans instead of that nonsense they put in there instead. It can't be worse than the mess we got.
  3. That trailer put me to sleep. They're trying way too hard to be funny to the point where it's just background noise.
  4. I think that most players in there know how to make it go heroic but it's much harder because players are underleveled they don't even bother. It does seem to be more empty than other spaces. That could be because of the poor progression system, the area isn't really all that interesting with only one landing zone or the entire game is on the decline. Probably all of the above.
  5. Apparently Bungie will be addressing the masterwork core issue, who knows how though. Forcing us to use masterwork cores to infuse gear to useable status was a typical Bungo decision and really makes the game feel like more of a grind than Warframe. And they will be addressing the Sleeper Simulant issue in Gambit somehow too. Hopefully they reduce the autoaim because you can get headshots with it just by aiming at a players feet. Gambit is sometimes fun but not as a solo player. Sometimes you can win if your team is either good and the other team sucks. But it's the only unigue thing Bungie added to Destiny. It's not bad...but right now it's not good either. Overall the multiplayer in Destiny is garbage even after the "fix". I only do some of it to get high level gear each week. The main game is the PVE and while it is fun it's still the same old content we've seen before but now closer to Destiny 1 with a slew of bounties. Actually more bounties than ever located in every destination save for The Farm. Even Tess has bounties awarding you bright dust. If you're a person previously disappointed in year 1 Destiny 2 but are thinking of giving Forsaken a chance, most of the sandbox changes came in the free update so check that out first. Otherwise Forsaken adds a super short story, two new destinations and the usual raid and strikes etc. Some people rave about the Dreaming City destination but to me it's just a nice looking extra location full of the usual bounties and lost sectors but with a boring as hell "I wish I was as fun as Archon's Forge" public arena mode and a lot of tedious secrets making you think the area has real depth. More stuff might open up later there of course but I'd rather it all be there sooner than tricking out one extra mission a week like they seem to be doing. I play it because I'd addicted to the gunplay(There still is no other shooter with gun mechanics as good as this) and getting new gear but this expansion is disappointing. The Taken King and Rise of Iron were better overall in Destiny 1. I'd wait for a sale, the asking price is way too high.
  6. The first trailer was horrid. made it out to be a show for really young window licking children. The latest trailer is a lot better. While it's still a show aimed at kids at least they're going out into space and not only racing. I like the retired Tie Fighter pilot character. I'm not seeing this do so well though on XD with it's 10pm time slot. I'm sure it won't be anywhere as good as Clone Wars or Rebels but I'd watch a few episodes if it comes to other outlets in syndication.
  7. Telltale made games that were barely games. They were made like old style point and click adventures with tacked on gimmicky arcade moments. Worst of all they wouldn't always work properly. The company folding is no big loss to me. If it weren't for some of these games going free with PS+ from time to time I'd have forgotten this company existed.
  8. It wasn't hard really. The only real difficult thing was trying to find those 4 stashes with no good clue where to even find them where I had to look up guides from people who Bungie told where they were located, The last story mission at the end with Nolan Norths bad Cayde-6 impression was both short and boring. The gun is nice and all so I guess it was worth the pain.
  9. The loot pool in this game is sparce, no wonder it's rare to get exotics. But hey with the annual pass we can pay Bungie to give us more guns. Destiny 2 is dull.
  10. Still only 18. The game must be dead then. Anyway I got the Ace of Spades last night. 25 pvp kills were easy with Crimson. And I played regular Crucible. Iron Banner is an imbalanced freakshow.
  11. I guess I will finally start working on the Ace of Spades questline. Bungie apparently hotfixed the game so that hand cannon kills in Gambit count by killing regular enemies as well as guardians. You'll just need 100 kills. Big whoop.
  12. All of these glitches and exploits are the reason why only 18 players completed the raid instead of thousands in the past. Bungie let these "cheaters" keep their high level gear after fixing stuff while the rest of us normals would need to take weeks and weeks to level up because of the games poor infusion mechanics. And since level advantages are enabled in Iron Banner now it's harder to compete on top of PVP still being absolute trash.
  13. I've played only two of the new strikes, the Prison of Elders one and this one that takes place against the Hive. The Hive one I jumped in late I guess because it was super short and I liked the Prison one. These things come up rare in the playlist rotation and I'm usually only in there to get the power gear rewards. I know I can play them all directly now but I don't see a reason for that yet.
  14. Just like with humans, the sexuallity of a hand puppet is such a small fraction of ones self that it doesn't really tell me much of anything about their identity at all other than what kind of bar they might be hanging out on a Friday night. Gays and straights are a dime a dozen on this planet. Bert and Ernie aren't gay. Neither are R2D2 & C3PO or The Odd Couple. Plutonic friends living together is normal no matter their sexual orientation, even two gay guys living together aren't jumping on each other like animals like immature kids might think. Changing established characters to fit an agenda won't add anything to the "representation social justice cause" it only pisses fans of those characters off even fans who happen to "identify" with what the agenda tries to enforce. You want peoples sexuality to be in movies and TV shows, books and theatre? Too late, they already exist in droves. Identity politics are such bullshit.
  15. Give me pixel art games. These old polygonal games look bad. Plus these games and so much more are on PS3. Who would want this?
  16. I'm confused. Was the man saying he was going to find the kid who had a gun or was he trying to find the kid with his gun thinking it was a GPS device?
  17. It was a damn good trailer much better than Captain Marvel's trailer even with a somewhat similar sombre tone but that was a trailer made later. The debut trailer for Winter Soldier was less brooding, had high action and cool dialog. It really made people excited and gave them something awesome to look forward to, just what a debut trailer is designed for. Captain Marvel's debut trailer looks pretty generic and boring to me. Doesn't really have any cool dialog or much of any action and the main characters expressions are basically all the same: dead and lifeless. It makes me think low budget material and that I should wait for home video streaming.
