  1. Warner Bros. Sets 'Wonka' Prequel for 2023 Release WWW.HOLLYWOODREPORTER.COM 'Wonka' centers on a young Willy Wonka and his adventures prior to opening the world’s most famous chocolate factory. tbh, the people attached seem fine. We'll see how this one goes!
  2. Speaking of dating threads It is a tragedy to all humanity that "wtf at my gf" was purged in 2018
  3. Could you guys elaborate? I know Man of Medan seemed lower budget, but I've heard this line of thinking about Man of Medan and wonder what went wrong.
  4. Can we take the time to appreciate this? After Biden was projected to be the winner, there was some euphoria, but there was still a lot of pessimism because of the Senate. So many races were winnable or seemed winnable -- Maine especially, but also North Carolina, Montana, Iowa, South Carolina, Texas, Montana, Mississippi, even Alaska as a long shot -- and if any two looked likeliest to flip, I think many would have sooner put Maine and Colorado instead of Arizona and Colorado. And I saw reporters or numbers people surprised as how down Democrats seemed that they did something as rare as unseat an incumbent president, even though there was ample reason to be disappointed -- we all remember the 2015/2016 obstruction, even moreso than the rest of the years because of how many judges were held up. Control of the Senate came down to two seats in Georgia, one of which was up again in 2022, and even though it went for Biden, it was close and Georgia isn't a reliable Democratic state at all, so many geared up for at most one seat possibly changing hands. And both fucking did. And there was no stress that night: we all saw Democratic overperform and Republicans underperform throughout the state. Cabinet picks? Much easier. Judges? They'll be going through. Breyer Supreme Court seat? Should be easier to replace now. Someone like Clarence Thomas drops dead suddenly (we have to be honest at the possibility considering Rehnquist, Scalia, and Ginsburg) those first two years? Dem Senate. The Senate was clearly more important than the House based on Cabinet/judges alone, and it was flipped. Dunno how the 2022 Senate elections will go, but regardless, getting a Dem Senate for any period of time is a huge deal as we now know, and it happened because of the Peach State.
  5. That would certainly save me a lot of time. Okay, don’t complete Hitman 1 if I know I want to continue with 2, then play all content from the games in 2 so everything carries over to 3. I do have plenty of bad clog, so I can’t say I’m gonna start playing hitman in a week, but that’s now part of my backlog!I do have plenty of bad clog, so I can’t say I’m gonna start playing hitman in a week, but that’s now part of my backlog!
  6. I totally get your Souls comparison, so it's cool. If I enjoy Hitman 1, I fully expect that I'll purchase Hitman 2 and then get 3. I'm a big fan of stealth, even when it's simple stealth like Horizon Zero Dawn. So when it's something like MGSV, I start to REALLY get into it. If Hitman is the kind of thing where the fun will be failing until I find what works in an intricately created level, then I'm excited.
  7. I have the first one on PS+; I should get to playing that at some point because this seems like a series of games I'd dig.
  8. I have a Tempur-Pedic that I really love and lasts. We do have MyPillow on our bed, and I think they're good, but nothing really stuck out as being elite? So it'll be easy for us not to get any more MyPillows. I informed her that BBB and Kohl's stopped carrying them and about the QAnon discount code, and she goes, "No fucking way."
  9. Viewers' guide to Biden's Inauguration Day: Everything you need to know WWW.NBCNEWS.COM The theme is "America United," but Covid-19 and the specter of domestic terrorism are casting shadows over the event. Here's what you need to know: Here's a look at other transfers of power before this turd of a president:
  10. I've had an itch to return to that world, and while I'm playing a lot of next gen stuff currently, I might finally give in and start a new game. It's one of those games where "dicking around" still feels like you're doing something relevant to the story. And I don't even mind just roaming around doing random stuff in open-world games.
  11. I would honestly avoid boss strategies as much as you can. With a couple exceptions, many of the bosses you can hide from and try to figure out, including the Tower Knight, by looking at his patterns. For many of the bosses in Demon's Souls specifically, there is a much easier way to take them down than their appearance would indicate.
  12. https://rhg.com/research/preliminary-us-emissions-2020/ 2020, as we know and as these preliminary numbers show, was a different year due to the pandemic. But even despite that, we've seen an indisputable trend down since 08/09. This coincides with a drop in coal usage and in increase in renewables and natural gas. If it weren't for COVID/economic distress, we still would have seen a reduction in carbon emissions. Well said on human suffering. Obviously, it's great that carbon emissions dropped, but doing this without the suffering/mental anguish of people is the goal. I'm feeling more hopeful under Biden, actually, based on some early moves of his.
  13. There's been much news so apologies if this was posted, but Zip Tie and his mom are under arrest. Eric Munchel, Capitol rioter with zip ties, and his mother charged with conspiracy WWW.NEWSWEEK.COM Footage of the Capitol riot shows Eric Munchel and Lisa Eisenhart among the mob inside the Senate chambers.
