  1. There was one impression, but I wouldn't mind Leon expanding more on what he saw because I saw it on Blu-Ray/UHD at Best Buy recently and wondered how many people knew it even existed!
  2. Biden's Judicial Nominees Have Diverse Backgrounds - The New York Times WWW.NYTIMES.COM The president’s first choices for district and appeals court openings reflected his campaign promise to choose judges from outside of traditional backgrounds.
  3. The governor is Democratic and the legislature is Republican. The Kentucky House voted for this by a vote of 91-3. Kentucky lawmakers send bipartisan election bill to governor WWW.CBSNEWS.COM The measure passed the Republican-led House with overwhelming bipartisan support.
  4. Judge rules against Georgia’s limits on third-party House candidates WWW.AJC.COM A federal judge ruled Monday that Georgia's signature requirements for Libertarian and third-party congressional candidates are "overbroad." No third-party candidate has collected enough signatures to appear on the ballot for U.S. House since 1943.
  5. We've been saturated to the point where most big releases seem to be superhero/comic book films, something that used to be more rare, especially prior to 2012. But we're also at the point where there are so many that there may be quite a bit of variety in what people feel are the ones that stand out to them. Here are some of the biggest ones that broke weekend records: For reference: Marvel DC Non-Marvel or DC
  6. Oh sweet! Fun fucking game, though I wish it had an arena. I understand the original didn't have one either, though. Cheers to hoping Rift Apart gives me some PS5 arena goodness.
  7. I don't think they sent the officer right when she said that; I think she voiced her concerns to the judge once she was assured the bailiff had a cop present by her house. That's probably why she asked which officer responded, not stationed there. Wouldn't be surprised if the cop saw the defendant's car as well when he arrived, which is why she said it wasn't hearsay. EDIT: Reading a little more, I don't know if the cop was there yet when she said that. I think the back-and-forth when the judge started speaking gave them some time.
  8. From what I understand, the prosecutor texted the bailiff to send an officer to her place when there was suspicion that the defendant and victim were in the same room.
  9. I remember when Bob Costas confronted Vince about this segment. The thing is, I don't mind it as as storyline. He demeaned Trish, he fired and humiliated Foley, he drove his wife into some comatose state, and every single person got revenge on Vince at Wrestlemania. Trish slapping Vince at the event received a momentous pop; it was earned, the woman getting back at a powerful, power-hungry cretin. It's different than Wrestlemania 19 when HHH said guys like Booker T are there to entertain, to dance, but can never get far, and you have nappy hair, and then beats Booker and that's the end of the story.
  10. There are over 900 games on the service, and with the exception of PS3, you can download the games instead of streaming. Here's a guide as to what's there: All PlayStation Now Games - PS Now Guide PSNOWGUIDE.COM Find the best games on Playstation Now to download and stream for PS4, PS3 and PS2.
  11. Apparently one of them said her phone was still in there after the crash while the guy's lifeless body is in the sidewalk. =\
  12. Appreciate the responses. Gonna look through that vid and I’m reading some of the history of the protection. So what do you make of an officer who’s worried about frivolous lawsuits coming out of this? Let’s assume those person isn’t malevolent and is just scared. I do have some friends thinking this is going to get bad, people I don’t think of as being bad actors, and I just tell them I don’t know enough to give them a good answer.
  13. I don’t know a ton about the history of this. On its surface it seems fine. But the amount of cops who are looking to quit or move states is high just based on my feelers (doesn’t mean they’ll follow through). What’s the history of this and why is it a good idea? I’d like to delve into this more.
  14. gdamn right I had a little interest the first few years for the PlayStation 3, but there truly were some good games those first few years, and there was a plethora of quality starting around 2009. Nah even I agree with that. I remember that first year being filled with games that didn’t deliver, or at least didn’t reach their potential until another installment. Lair especially as far as something disappointing goes. Stuff like Ratchet always delivered, But I just remember so many series stalling at first or taking a long time to release or disappointing. There’s definitely good stuff but if you had a 360 or Wii or Wii60, you were just fine up until 2008.

  16. Interesting. They said DC is a no guns area, so bring masks, spray, batons, etc. Can't imagine the bloodshed had we had so many people armed.
