  1. Holy mackerel how do you guys remember what number you were?! Good for you! Secondly, I am proud to say that my reputation goes up, on average, at least one upvote, every two weeks, for the 10 years I've been here. ... ...which is pathetic. ...and truth be told I believe more than half of my 258 reputation came in the first 12 months. All of you try and be as unrelatable, un-communiticative, or easily disregarded with milque toast, weak opinions like me!
  2. Best, I remember shortly after the start there was some in fighting between members and those that started Bad Cartridge and Setharion/The Dude (miss the guy) then made an off shoot site. I remember talking to you about it because, God Bless Seth, but he was angry with some of us for not commiting more to his Board. He eventually came back, but then left again. ...just bringing it up as it was the early days and represents some of the departed.
  3. Kal, changed you to a heart, because...well, quite simply...you are literally "Day One".
  4. Ominous you get the gold star. I was going to post the original name of this place above, Bad Cartridge, but I just couldn't remember it. ...this is what happens when you get old.
  5. Those of us who were here during the great migration from IGN and some other boards remember that time well. ...um...is there anyone else who was here then? I know there are. Most importantly thank you and congratulations to those of you who make this place run and make it great, of which I am not one! Seriously, thank you and Happy Anniversary to all.
  6. ...let me explain it this way... "He is clearly a top 10 QB this year -- an argument could be made for top 5. [LEAVE THIS SPACE BLANK] " That's my point. I can also spit out details of what was good in 2019...like he led the NFL in 4th quarter comebacks, was 10-4 in games that he started and finished in 2019, and after the Pats game his tds to int was 17-3. However, that's not my point. It is fairly unrelenting, and because I see it more than you that it is "what's the big deal?" or the "not buying it." And this was an initially a "project QB" who had to play 20 minutes into his first game in 2018. He has gotten progressively better each year...and there's proof. GOOD YOUR COMMENTS. IT'S APPRECIATED. GOOD FROM JOHNNY, TOO. When I went off above, though, i wasn't talking about you guys (unless you guys are on TV and radio and you've been hiding it ). SO what is there not to "buy into" for a possibly top five QB, with a greater than average difficulty schedule against teams with winning records, completing a number of passes, at a high percentage, for a lot of yards and tds, winning games with his arm, and who can also run for lots of TDs for a QB? Again...and very respectfully, I am not asking you, I am commenting on what I have heard and read...and that was my original post. Which was (sorry) proved by you guys coming in and, "Yeah, yeah, fine, fine, good...BUT, LET'S GO BACK." Derek Carr is great...that's it. I honestly believe it. It's not, '"Derek Carr is great, BUT HE CAN WIN FOR SHIT, I MEAN LET'S GO BACK A HALF A DECADE. CAN'T PUT THE TEAM ON HIS BACK." It's not on Carr all the time and it wasn't on a young, project Allen all the time. Lord above, Absolut, in 2018 his number 1 receiver was ZAY JONES!!! A.S., I am not saying that about Carr to be jerk. Honestly, you know I mean what I say about Carr. ...but do you get me a little bit on this?
  7. Respect you guys, you know I do, and I do so appreciate the 2019 stats. The problem is I was talking about 2020, and the duration, or rather persistence of the perception in 2020, and other than the career tds numbers and wins I am not sure how much I delved into his performance prior to this year. I know what I saw is at least a bit true, because you guys are working really hard to go back in time...no worries, as it is what a lot out there are trying to do.
  8. Of which year he was a playoff QB with 29 total tds and a completion percentage of 60, and it continues through this year.
  9. BTW, that "inaccurate" and "mistake prone" QB, as referenced by the SF media and their fandom heading into last night (or just about a 60-40 split across the country's talking football heads that feel the same way), is the 5th most accurate QB in the NFL by QBs that have thrown more than 100 passes (69.9%) (6-6 on throws of 20+ last night), is tied for 6th in TD passes (26), tied for third in total TDs (33) with Pat Mahomes and Russell Wilson (4 behind Aaron Rodgers), 5th in the NFL in yards passing, one of only two QBs (Mahomes the other) to have a QB rating of 80 or above against zone and man coverage this year, only the 3rd QB in the modern era (including Tom Brady, the other "may" be Brees) to account for 16 tds against another division during a season, has the League's 7th highest passer rating (105.9) while playing in one of the most god awful places for a QB to play, is 24-12 in games he has started and finished (24-15, overall), has 81 combined TDs which are the most from any QB drafted in 2018, was on the injury report and wearing a shoulder brace during his first two losses, and but for a Hail Mary pass would have won during the third loss and would be on a six game win streak... ...and if you guys are tired of reading the stuff I roll out about this kid, how tired do you think I am to still keep reading and hearing things like, "...AND!?!", "So what, everybody has been beaten that defense...nothing special here (LeBatard and Bomonti Jones after a 415 yard, 4TD performance against the then #1 NFC Seahawks)?! He is not the best QB in the league and I am not making the claim that he is, whatsoever. And no one has to sit there and bow down to the kid. ...I'm just thinking maybe there could be far less scrunched up faces when people are asked whether he is good or not.
  10. The Bills lost to the Chiefs and beat the Raiders. ...and the Raiders are the team, if given the choice, I just DON’T want to play again. I want no part of you guys, Absolut. Nope. That is a dangerous team laying in the woods in the AFC.
  11. That was uncalled for, A.S. Sure, slam them when they are down, but you don’t have to be insulting. ...4 teams...within a half game of each other...and the team in first is 3-6-1. Crazy.
  12. There is almost nothing to say...well,except some stuff. The convergence of so many exact things necessary to end up with this result only makes me think that there is a devine football power that doesn't want the Bills to win the division (Bills lose 3 dbs and their starting TE the day before; good LB put on the rack for the season during the week; Cody practicing all week and not playing; Brown being fully back and then...not; Cards missing two dbs last week, but get them back this week; cards miss a FG last week and get a hail Mary this week; all contributing factors)...fair enough. I felt weeks ago the division could come down the final week an I am not straying from that. I also feel it could be the Bills looking up at the Dolphins. My hope is for them to get to 10-5, with the phins no better than 11-4...my hope. BTW, This was my comment on my Bills board on Saturday with the COVID news: "I know I am restating the obvious, but this truly is mind bogglingly bad. I mean, this is literally heart piercing. This is punch myself in the nuts as hard as I can until I black out, bad. Then, Hitler comes back from the dead and keeps pounding my nads with a big stick until I wake back up and then he tells me he digs my wife before I pass out again bad. ...I don’t believe I am getting my point across to you how bad I think this is." That was Saturday...how do you think I feel now?
  13. Hey, thanks Norman! Why in the world would we need 3 of our dbs or our starting TE against Arizona on the road? Oh, and Arizona got their two starting dbs back for this one? And we put one of our few quality LBs on IR this week?! And league unsung safety hero Micah Hyde injured his ankle in practice this week?! Fantastic! I love it! I can’t wait for this game! edit: and now down our starting right guard who practiced...all week.
  14. I was obviously aware of Josh's injury against the Raiders (thanks for that one, btw @AbsolutSurgen ) and the fact he had been wearing a brace ever since, but I didn't know it was likely effecting him as much as it has the last 4 weeks. I also didn't know that he got it off for the first time in 4 weeks yesterday. Hasselback starting at about 2:30 nails it. This was before the game and he was spot on. EDIT: In the five games he played without the brace Allen is 136 of 186, a 73.11 completion percentage, for 1,741 yards (348 per game), with 15 tds, 1 interception a passer rating of 126.66.
  15. And Jamal Adams needs to enroll in the Jalen Ramsey School of “Maybe You Should Shut The F*** up About Josh Allen”.
  16. Stunning comment by Pete Carroll as the Bills were second only to Seattle in pass-run ratio going into the game. Bills 28-3 pass to run breakdown in the first half yesterday said to be an NFL record. Bills had 7 receivers with at least one 20 or more yards reception.
  17. Fully healthy we wouldn't be able to beat the 'Hawks, maybe hang with them, at best. ...but man, boar, we may going into that game 6-7 guys down. Every since the injury to John Brown the offense has been gimped. over the last four games his played in two, has 1 catch and is still missing daily practice due to it. Milano battling through to play, rotating CBs, Knox with Covid our near pro bowl center in concussion protocol for maybe the 6th time in his career, and it goes on and on. THis is going to be ugly...for the Bills. Plus I have thought WIlson is the league MVP, and I have thought that since early on in the season...Metcalf is also the thing of nightmares for opposing teams.
  18. I like the Bills' chances this weekend of not giving up 50 points. @thewhyteboar OOohhhhh, what? You Seattle folks are gonna cry over only 45 or 48 points?! Babies! Suck on that! ...Final score 51-17, as even self-deprecating fandom jokes can back fire.
  19. And yet, BobO drew your constant ire for quite a period of time. hmmm.
  20. If you are a Cleveland Brown's fan and you have been waiting so long to come in from out in the cold and it looks like you are just about to step inside...how bad does this news stink? Still playing well, but this is a huge loss.
  21. Honestly...never as a football fan have I used the word breathtaking, but sorry, it applies in this instance. ...I don't hate you, TJ Graham...but I do a little...and the people who drafted you.
  22. Your offense is unreal, and I don't necessarily mean record setting (although they could be) because I just don't know. It is the fact that every single game seems like it could be a team's season ending highlight reel of great plays. The defense wasn't great and Wilson threw some picks. It happens. Still just amazing to watch.
