  1. I like a lot of different jellies and jams. My kids went through a phase watching the Paddington movies with that bear who is obsessed with marmalade. That stuff looked great in the movie so I bought it. Man did I hate it lol. Not what I expected at all.

This is such a complicated statement. There's also "pretty great" puppies who never learn proper dog etiquette, and neither do the owners. They let their dogs run up and jump on unknown dogs, which the dogs then go wtf and get angry, the "pretty great dog" owners then deem that dog to be "aggressive" bc they never taught their dog manners or discipline and they don't have any either.

What does "pretty great" even mean? Entertaining for a human?

I was trying to speculate what would make someone believe that a rabies vaccine would cause autism/autism symptoms in dogs. So I leaned more toward the idea that adopting pets have become so popular the last couple years, especially during Covid, that now all these new dumb pet owners think their dog got messed up from a vaccine. When it was really just the psychological damage already done to the dog.
My pretty great comment was just my experience growing up, always having dogs in the house. We would get them as puppies and they were just the best dogs. They listened on command, didn’t destroy things in the house, 2 of the dogs didn’t even need a leash on a walk because they were so chill. My dad could just snap his finger and they would come.

Now the last 15 years or so they have strictly adopted dogs. I could go into every detail but it’s too much. My parents have both said the 2 rescues they have now will be the last.  They have too many behaviors that developed at a young age that just don’t seem fixable long term. They never feel they can put 100% trust into the dogs not to bite somebody. Too many little quirks.

  3. I wonder if there is any connection to these dogs behavior and the popularity of rescue animals.  My mom has rescued 4 dogs over the years and each one has had some sort of odd behavior. Before that they always paid good money for a puppy and the dogs grew up to be pretty great. I also encounter a lot of dogs in my travels with work. Im not surprised when I encounter a customers dog, that I think is odd or untrustworthy, and then i hear it’s a rescue.

  4. Biggie is probably right.

My simple actions got someone pulled over once. This Mustang was riding my ass big time on a country road. Something like that usually doesn’t bother me but it was becoming a nuisance so I pulled over when it was safe to let him by. Speeds off. Not a minute or two up the road he had sped through a speed trap and the cop had just pulled him to a stop. I gave a little victory honk as I drove by.

I ended up getting a Playdate about a month ago. I love it. I leave it on the side table by the couch and my kids play it all the time trying to out do each others high scores. So far I’ve bought Root Bear, P Racing, Gun Trails and Mars After Midnight. I actually bought that reading light a few years ago and it is the perfect light for the Playdate.

Also this company seems like they can never catch a break:

    RETRODODO.COM

$400,000 of missing PlayDate consoles has vanished into thin air, with Panic, the makers of the console, begining investigations.

Sensational headline aside, it says $400,000 worth of Playdates went missing and they have started to see the missing/stolen consoles being registered online.

  6. That’s so sad.  Thought he was great in Gen V.
According to a Deadline article they were supposed to get together for the first table read yesterday, and filming of Gen V Season 2 was supposed to start April 8th. Wonder what they will do going forward? Recast? Ughh this sucks.

Apparently there was a double murder with another person seriously wounded in my hometown of 1900 people. Yikes.

Feels weird when it’s so close to home. About 5 minutes away from me, about 2 years ago, there was a murder-suicide on a street I go down all the time. A lady separated from her husband and dated a guy. She ended up reconciling with the husband. The ex boyfriend came to their house, killed her, shot the husband, and then killed himself. Husband survived. That all of that happened while her and the husbands 3 kids were in the house…Every time I drive by that house I think about it. Can’t imagine.

Few things will ever top the sheer gonzo insanity of Bad Boys II. Movie is epic.

As for this one, the same guys who directed Bad Boys III came back to do this one and that one was surprisingly solid. Nothing great but good enough for a Bad Boys film. I have faith this will at least be as solid as that.

Bad Boys 2 is one of my all time favorite action movies. 3 was alright. I didn’t hate it but I only watched it once in theater and never felt the need to rewatch.
