  1. Seems like these layoffs share the same root cause from the same cause as the desperate attempt to squeeze money out of locked in clients.
  2. Gale is the only male companion that doesn't annoy me for coming on to me despite me not romancing him because it actually feels like it makes sense for his personality. Haslin on the other hand feels out of nowhere and shoehorned.
  3. Especially if you use Nvidia Shield that does that processing probably better. Also I refuse to connect any SmartTV to the internet. Fuck their forced ads and bloatware.
  4. I watched To End All War Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb so I knew everything before going in to the movie including the parts about his love life. I wanted a character study and Cillian Murphy did a damn fine job with what was given to him. Oppenhemer in the style of There Would Be Blood would have been fire.
  5. No but I do think Epstein was popular among the elite because he could hook them up with young women/girls and keep it on the down low.
  6. Sounds like this is a good game but its pretty buggy. Ill probably hold off until multiple patches.
  7. I don't mind non linear storytelling either, hell Pulp Fiction is one of my favorite movies but this is a biopic. While yeah I understand the whole flashback thing it really hurt character development. It would have been much better served if we were allowed to see how the unfolding events changed Oppie. I also felt like the dialogue was way too "Sorkinesque" where it was way too fast paced and snappy creating a feeling of heightened reality which I didn't care for in a movie like this. I wanted something less dramatized and more based in reality.
  8. I just watched this for the first time and tbh I think I'm over Nolan. While there are aspects of the movie I liked, the herky jerky nature of the time jumping and small snippets of dialogue that allow for lttle character development outside of a select few characters just left me flat. Its a common problem with many big blockbusters now a days where the director is so worried the audience will get bored they constantly throw shit in your face. It tried to do too many things all at once and ended up failing on all fronts in an incoherent mess. The documentary To End All War Oppenheimer and the Atomic Bomb was much more compelling and more importantly coherent. Edit: This movie would have been 1000x better if it was slower paced and linear where you actually got to know the characters and showed how they changed over over time.
  9. Large swaths of the South have been taught "alternate" history about the Civil War.
  10. "Our position is thoroughly identified with the institution of slavery-- the greatest material interest of the world." - Mississippi
  11. It almost like the left doesn't stay static and progresses forward.
  12. He definately believes in things, he just cloaks them behind a veneer of peudointellectualism.
  13. I feel like Lopez is more of a contrarian than "post left". Or an "anti-anti-Trumper"
  14. Yeah IMO the "rise" of much of this comes down to money. This kind of rage baiting and conspiracy nonsense gets drives user engagement.
  15. I know they think they are being cute but Dominoes and Papa Johns are gonna take that extra buisness.
  16. Still wearing a mask whenever I"m sitting in a waiting room with a bunch of people. I've enjoyed not being sick from all forms of airborne illness.
  17. They are gonna have to enact this by force because knowing the GOP in that state they are gonna do everything they can to ignore it.
