Strike one. Strike two.

I will lock this thread if it continues to be desecrated with photo-less pizza reports.

I don't plan on fucking around with surrounds, it's hard enough to pinpoint a good bar + subwoofer combo given the absolutely insane price differentials. Is a $400 combo 40% worse than a $1,000 combo? Who knows!

SimpleG hasn't been on since like May but looking through the board history all he mentioned was getting his wisdom teeth out.

@Bacon what are your goals for the next year of your life?

That was the very first thing I adjusted lol. Right now I'm just sticking to Filmmaker Mode because it's apparently the most accurate and I don't want to play around with the granular settings yet.

@Brian @stepee @Nokra Got the SC90 today and oh my God, absolutely life changing. Going from a ten year old plasma to a washed out Vizio Gallevia to this is nothing short of mind blowing. And the 120 refresh rate is insane - playing Diablo IV was buttery smooth. The sound quality is also pretty decent - while playing D4 it showed off some pretty impressive surround sound for built-ins (naturally I'm now looking at sound bars as well, because I'm feeling particularly slutty).

I'm very curious as to how much CGI he is using this time around, because the effects do not feel as practical as Fury Road. -
I love a proper Thanksgiving meal, but anything copious and intentional can make for a good Thanksgiving dinner.

You simply have to respect. Not sure how anyone could be a hater, he is entirely what he says he is.

Too much food/booze so the sex will wait until tomorrow.

Got a 55" Samsung S90 OLED from Costco for $1,299 plus a free five year warranty, super psyched. My old Insignia plasma finally kicked the bucket a month ago and since then we've been using an old ass Vizio LCD that we had in a spare room. Finally joining the 4K HDR master class.
