  2. The only coffee I ever enjoyed was called a caramello that was made by a now defunct 24/7 coffee shop. I wouldn't ever classify it as coffee though as it tasted like a caramel drink and nothing like coffee. I can't stand straight coffee.
  3. Nike is a millennial brand, those Republicans throwing a temper tantrum do not represent their target audience in any relevant way. It has been a good year overall for Nike with sneakerheads declaring their Element 87 shoe, the shoe of the year along with the Nike React running line and Zoom Pegasus Turbo doing extremely well amongst runners. The Pegasus Turbo in particular is a $180 running shoe that has sold out numerous times since its release this summer. Nike has been releasing a staggering amount of shoes this year in general and retroing a number of shoe lines that haven't seen the day of light since the 90's.
  4. I still have the final revision of the slim PS2. Haven't ever used it, but I bought it when they were clearing them out just in case I wanted to play a PS2 game again at some point. Crazy how efficient those things were at the end of their life. Didn't even need a power brick as they we able to house a PSU internally.
  5. Just bought The Surge a few days back for $10 in the clearance bin at Wal-Mart.
  6. By the time I get it, it'll probably have the DLC bundled with it. I want to play it, but I'm probably going to wait for a price drop as I have other games I still need to get around to playing before I pick this one up.
  7. Yeah, that was a bit displeasing to see. Thanks Sony for advertising extra content you want us to pay for before the game is even out.
  8. I'm glad the family spoke out. When they announced the ethnicity and immigration status of the man who killed her, I knew immediately that the Republicans would use this murder to push their political agenda. It's too bad the GOP will never respect the wishes of the family because their careers are far more important to them than respecting a family in mourning.
  9. Ugh, always a sad day when priceless pieces from history get destroyed. I have to imagine that museum was a treasure trove for historical artificats too. Hopefully some can be salvaged.
  10. Metal prices are nuts right now due to Trump. A local metal shop I was at last month isn't even keeping an inventory anymore to sell to customers because the prices are sky high. They couldn't even provide a quote because of how rapidly the prices are changing right now they had no way of honoring it.
  11. I wouldn't knock the domestic brands at all. Some of their cars are riding some some very impressive chassis. Brand perception vs reality is quite different these days. Some of the brands associated with reliability have been on a steady decline for years, but most consumers are not well versed in the matter because let's be honest, most people don't exactly do their homework. Even then, when you look at the industry as a whole, reliability is going down and the cost of repair is rising at quite a fast pace. Car companies are obsessed with cramming tech into automobiles that has not gone through the rigorous testing it should have in their attempts to attract buyers in a market in which automobile sales are on the decline.
  12. Their are a lot of poor choices in the Model 3. I understand why it's popular as it's affordable for more people than prior models, but when you thoroughly look through the car, it's hard to ignore some of the bizarre oversights. I mean, how can you make an electric car and not provide a way to manually open all doors in the case of a drained battery. Tesla even states the front doors that have manual mechs shouldn't be used often as they can damge the doors. I wouldn't touch a Tesla myself though due to the current practices of the company. I refuse to own a car in which the company actively makes in impossible for owners or indpendent mechanics to work on the car.
  13. I'm not really sure if Tesla deserves they praise they get. They may have the best electric tech on the market, but they are as anti-consumer as it gets.
  14. I'm still using the car I bought for college around 2005. It's a 2000 VW Golf TDI. The car has been insanely reliable and despite having almost 200,000 miles on it now, it still drives like a dream. Every part on it that has worn out due to age has lasted far beyond the average lifespan. Every part I have pulled off that car has been manufactured in Germany or elsewhere in Europe. At this point, I have no interest in buying a new car until electric cars are not only affordable, but have the range my car gets. Even then, I'd still keep this one around for the winter. I just can't see myself buying a new car until that point because I do not want to get rid of one of the world's most fuel efficient cars.
  15. Public restroom toilets are the worst. Half the time, they have shit or piss on them, plus you have to deal with the fact that people can see you through the gap on the side of the door. I always try to avoid using them.
  16. And today, Trump cannot get his story straight on McGhan after using his favorite social media platform to Tweet out that he chose to let him go. https://amp.cnn.com/cnn/2018/08/30/politics/donald-trump-mcgahn/index.html
  17. That's awesome they added online co-op. I got a friend into this game and it'll be great to play the next one online with him.
  18. Would the first lady be called the first mother then?
  19. This is what happens when senior citizens watch Fox News and believe what the talking heads tell them. If only their was a search engine that could have explain how search results are generated.
