You can, and in fact if you unlock the Warfarer class, you can switch between multiple classes. The down side is you can't use ultimate skills, but so far, I don't find the ultimate skills to be worth the trade off as they often require the consumption of your entire stamina bar to execute damage equivalent to 2 of the class skills.

Me either, and I only took up the class to round out my Warfarer class, only to discover that I actually enjoyed it more. I’m taking down drakes more easily now that I’m sniping the heart while the pawn warrior takes the beating I use to take. Then a mage and sorcerer round out the team for heals and the occasional meteor shower. I’ve cleared 15 drakes now with this approach, feels good! I should add that this is the first time I’ve ever enjoyed a ranger/archer type in an RPG.

Some context on this article. These quotes were taking from a recent DDC. The point was to discuss the challenges game designers face. To read the title of this somewhat click bait article, you might think a current Bethesda employee was basically saying, LOL we threw this bad boy together, because you know it only takes 5 minutes when you only have 5 minutes! That is not the case, but what was said mirrors points other developers have shared across the industry, pointing to some questionable project management, bad timelines, possible cultural upheaval, and just general business fuckery. I also just think that frankly, space as the stage for this game, broke with this team's ability to do what they have historically excelled at, namely creating a fun sandbox RPG that just so happens to have a story...kinda. Starfield has a solid game in the bowels of its terrible interplanetary travel system and shyte UI. The scope of it served to dilute the impact of the story rather than enhance it. People are truly afraid for the next Elder Scrolls, but I'm not that worried, aside from the very real possibility that we will likely not see it until 2028. All anyone wants is more, and prettier Skyrim, with a very mod friendly box of code. Bethesda is certainly capable of delivering that!

Fortunately this is the first and only time the French have left an unstable power vacuum.

Stating an opinion by asking a question is rather high on my list. Examples: Is grinding in RPGs a waste of your time? Is Kingdom Hearts the best JRPG ever? Basically, 1 in 5 thread titles on Resetera.

Looks great visually, though I would say many SC developed games have the same clean grandeur to their aesthetic, so this isn't much of a surprise. I've grown weary of MMOs, but until I see game play and systems explained, I won't write this one off.
