  1. I finished Act 2. Fucking shit, this game is great. I feel like it's way better than it got rated and is one of the best games of this gen. It's fucking criminal that RDR2 is one of the mostly high rated games of all time while this gem slides into the middle 8s.

  2. I just had a meeting with retired NFL lineman, Vince WIlfork, about developing some property he owns including putting up a drive in on it. Dude was very cool. 2020 continues to be incredibly strange for me personally.

  6. I mean the answer is fucking obvious, they listen to talk radio or opinion content all day talking about cities as if they're all Mogadishu in the 1990s, just look at Fox News' primetime looney line up and how they handled the protests.

  7. Seriously if everyone would all just wear masks, it'd be done with. After the flareup a few months ago, Korea is down to 3 local cases today.

  8. Masks have been mandatory on public transport here for a few months. Though even before it was mandatory probably 99% of people were wearing them anyways.

  21. I mean, MS first party would release what, 3 or 4 major titles a year? If that much? With Game Pass at 15 million subs, that's $150 million a month even if they don't release a game, and it's only gonna get higher.

  25. I think there's certainly some blame to be placed on conservative tv/radio, but it's not as if other media is playing the counter narrative. All media is stuck with the same problem that stories about crimes are both newsworthy (to some extent) and they generate far more interest (views, clicks, etc.) than the alternative. So while Fox may be an outlier with a huge viewership, even someone listening to NPR and the Times might wrongly expect that crime is rising. Then you have another problem where the institutions that might benefit most from a falling crime rate, are perversely in

  31. Finally got around to seeing this, and it did not disappoint. The monster aspect was played up so well I felt the urge to shield my face in that first episode. What intrigued me more was the social-political dynamics of the movie. How the pretense to continue the farce of "Russian" superiority lead. While I don't doubt half of Americans will watch this and conclude that communism is a failure, the blindness of nationality and the greed of human endeavor are seeds of downfall for our capitalistic society. The same bureaucracy exhibited by the CPSU plagues our own democracy.

  40. Night Of the Living Dead 1990 Remake George Romero redid the screen play for this film with Tom Savini at the helm. This was made partially because Romero never saw any profits off the original film . This version drops the racial issues of the original and replaces it with more of a gender backdrop. Patricia Tallman plays Barbra who starts off much like the original as a screaming blubbering mess but soon becomes the most capable survivor in the house. Tony Todd plays Ben and Ill be honest I like his version much more then Duane Jones version. Partially because Tony is damn

  41. Annihilation: 7/10 - I thought this was a good example of a great idea bogged down by stupid human characters. I mean I can give them the benefit of the doubt later in the movie because their brains are getting fried but I dunno just a lot of odd human decisions.
