Friend is building a ~1500 gaming PC. What do you guys think of this build?

So it's been a bit since I've been researching parts and whatnot.

Requirements:
  • 1TB SSD
  • support for 3 monitors, 2 actual monitors and 1 TV (his monitors have hdmi and dvi)
  • Single video card, Nvidia
  • Will only buy from Amazon and Newegg
Anything you guys would change? He isn't going to overclock (at least not right away) so he doesn't need a CPU cooler. Also doesn't need a disc drive as he'll probably use the one from his previous computer.

So my friend built a submerged PC.

Such a silly project to take on but it was cool seeing it. Anyone else see one of these ever?

What other song does the intro to "Cool Kids" by Echosmith remind me of?

The first 18 seconds of the song really sounds like another song i used to listen to maybe ~5 years ago, maybe a bit longer. I just can't think of the song name, the band, or even any lyrics. It's bugging the heck out of me.

And sorry the link looks weird. Gfycat doesn't look you pick you're URL apparently. =\

Amazing movie. I liked the first one quite a bit but I have to say I think I liked this one even more.

In my opinion, Dreamworks doesn't really do too well on movies but they keep doing awesome things with their train your dragon movies.

This plot of the movie was really well done too, I feel.

So glad I decided to watch the movie.

Cheap HDMI video card that supports DTS audio?

I just acquired a bit of an older desktop computer that I plan to use as a HTPC, but right now it only has VGA out.

I need to find a cheap video card that uses HDMI but also supports DTS HD for my 7.1 surround sound in my home theater.

Does anyone have a good recommendation?
