  1. Yup, I switched to warrior and combat got much better! While slow, the get knocked down far less often and that makes a huge difference when the screen gets crowded with a blend of ground based and airborne enemies. I'm using the thunder hammer, but might try out a sword tonight.
  2. I currently have 178K, sell everything that is common and get that house as soon as you can! I basically maxed out each type of common items in my storage chest and now sell anything new that comes into my inventory.
  3. Rick! (my default name for all hero type characters) and side kick Cat man, Hobbs are now level 23. Current state of neck beard, about a 1/4"...
  4. Absolutely true! As always there is a sensible world, which is of course science fiction, and there is a mad world called Earth. In a sensible world, this issue wouldn’t be in play, but here…
  5. Hey, I know you guys are fighting for your country and all, but could you do it like, in a more chill manner because we have elections coming up and it would really be inconvenient to our narrative, cool? Thanks buds, we knew you would understand! -Uncle Sam's civilian liaison
  6. Some context on this article. These quotes were taking from a recent DDC. The point was to discuss the challenges game designers face. To read the title of this somewhat click bait article, you might think a current Bethesda employee was basically saying, LOL we threw this bad boy together, because you know it only takes 5 minutes when you only have 5 minutes! That is not the case, but what was said mirrors points other developers have shared across the industry, pointing to some questionable project management, bad timelines, possible cultural upheaval, and just general business fuckery. I also just think that frankly, space as the stage for this game, broke with this team's ability to do what they have historically excelled at, namely creating a fun sandbox RPG that just so happens to have a story...kinda. Starfield has a solid game in the bowels of its terrible interplanetary travel system and shyte UI. The scope of it served to dilute the impact of the story rather than enhance it. People are truly afraid for the next Elder Scrolls, but I'm not that worried, aside from the very real possibility that we will likely not see it until 2028. All anyone wants is more, and prettier Skyrim, with a very mod friendly box of code. Bethesda is certainly capable of delivering that!
  7. Fortunately this is the first and only time the French have left an unstable power vacuum.
  8. Stating an opinion by asking a question is rather high on my list. Examples: Is grinding in RPGs a waste of your time? Is Kingdom Hearts the best JRPG ever? Basically, 1 in 5 thread titles on Resetera.
