German windows

I loved these in Germany. You can open your windows like this to get a little bit of fresh air without worrying about people or e.g. rain getting in. 

 

Also, when I went over there for the first time and I was in a German language class, I think that the teacher must have known it would be funny, because she asked me to open the window and I did a similar panic move as this guy, thinking I'd broken the window. :lol:
